There was a free for all / record numbers that flooded into out country 2022 and 2023. It dwarfed the number that came through via visas.

The way they are conducting their raids is a bit unfair to brown folks. They aren't touching big businesses because our food supply would collapse if they went into farms and processing plants to look for illegals. There are around 500k undocumented Europeans and 1.7 million Asians. It is a pain in the ass for everyone if ICE was going to try to round everyone up dog catcher style.

The trials aren't to determine if you are documented or not. It's for asylum claims and other issues. They are also trying to deport permanent residents who protested at colleges. Students are also getting their visas or PR status revoked because of traffic violations. This Japanese student had to sue to get his status reinstated.

Where is your evidence that they are all criminals? Where is your evidence that they are all here to just "disappear", as you contended?

I at least presented something that showed that illegal immigrants are much less of a threat, and commit far fewer crimes than the native population. Evidence that is backed up by almost every study on the subject.

There was a record number of apprehensions during those years, yes.

But the fact that there were apprehensions proves that it's not a free for all. If there was, there wouldn't be any apprehensions at all and border agents wouldn't exist. Surely you can understand this.

Maybe the "there's a free for all!" line really means "there's not enough apprehensions for my liking!" but a lot of people really do take it literally.

Get the criminals out first and foremost.. then move on to homeless/unhoused.. and lastly employed non-violent folks should be at the very bottom of the totem pole
