His best win is Charles in which he did great awesome performance ..but he doesnt seem like a genuine person ...in that hes alittle too comfortable in playing the Khabib shadow role ... I dont think hes as humble as he pretends to be and i dont think hes as good as he thinks he is .. especially at being a champion ...i mean his first order of business is to call for a fight with a FW ... Literally using the words where's that little guy...rubbed me off the wrong way

What he does next will really help me form an opinion on him...right now i see him as the guy with the belt but not necessarily a champion if that makes sense...

My point is a lot of guys say they’re willing to do things that they aren’t actually willing to do. He also said he would fight RDA short notice and declined it behind the scenes, he just happened to get exposed by Dana because they were pissed at him for it.

Hopefully Islam is willing to go up eventually, but I will believe it when he actually does it.

Agreed. Khabib is humble. I think the Olie W was legit in a packed resume of can crushing. Now calling out manlets is sus. Lw is stacked.

But it’s a bad look to immediately call out a 145er, especially after Dariush had the performance he had… then Khabib tries to set it up as fighting for #1 P4P status in the post fight interview he was for some reason a part of

I've been watching "both sides" bicker* about him for years. Here's my conclusion:

1. no one (or so few that we can colloquially say "no one") hates him.
2. but there is a classic "I don't hate him but I hate his fans" situation going on
3. his fans feel this angst and get defensive
4. from that defensiveness, they righteously claim that everyone hates him, and that gets them even more entrenched.
5. which further entrenches the non-haters, who now defensively hate his fans even more.
6. and eventually politics or religion (similar to Godwin's Law) gets invoked and everyone loses their fucking shit.

I don’t think anyone genuinely hates Islam, where I think you’re wrong though is that many fans DO hate Khabib, and Islam is hated by proxy. It’s not all due to defensiveness of his fans, there was a genuine effort to diminish islam to the degree that many didn’t want him to fight for the title even though they KNEW nobody else deserved it and it was the best matchup for Oliveira.

Dariush should be next... without a doubt the fact this isnt a guarantee is just freighting

Going to be interesting to see what type of run he can put to together. I think the record at LW is three title defenses with BJ and Khabib. He looks pretty amazing during the Charles fight. So i guess we shall see I just hope he is an active champion
