PPV are back on the menu boys
More people can kick a ball consistently than can kick someone in the head consistently.MMA will always be bush league compared to soccer.
If they ever get another Conor type star they will definitely do ppv again. They would be stupid not too. The money is too good on ppvs if the star is right.
Yes, purely due to the infrastructure and popularity of football/soccer.More people can kick a ball consistently than can kick someone in the head consistently.
We dont know the contract details, they may still have a ppv clause in this new deal in case they find a new Conor.Probably a breach of contract. They can't. But getting 1.1 billion a year is already winning
Temperature controlled driveway"I NEED MORE SNOW FOR MY MANSIONS IN DESERTS"
Conors done they need a new guy. People are tired of seeing him get his ass kicked. PPV stars that can cross the 1 million mark are rare, even guys that sell 500k are hard to find. If UFC ever does ppv again it would be a really special talent.PPV is dead even Conor can´t sell shxt now.
If you wanna do PPV you need to bring Prime-Tyson or Prime Mayweather or Prime Pacman or Prime Muhammad Ali in order to do some real PPV.
These were the biggest PPV sellers of all time making Conor nothing in comparison.
Did you know that Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frezer 3 sold a whopping 100.000.000 PPV buys (It is still to this day the biggest fight of all times)
Mike Tyson has like 10-15 fights over 1.5 million sales while Mayweather has the 3rd highest sold fight of all time vs Pacman..
The Lephrechuan could sell but his star fadded very very quickly as he ran into defeats and can´t sell.. What makes someone a seller is an aura of being unbeatable. Whereas fighters like Ali, Tyson, Mayweather, Pacman etc etc they have dynasties and eras where they went undefeated cleaned the competition
WhateverYes, purely due to the infrastructure and popularity of football/soccer.
Which exposes how bush league MMA is.. give it 100~ years maybe.
Right?Probably a breach of contract. They can't. But getting 1.1 billion a year is already winning
I would sue if I were Paramount. They are paying for the whole ka-bang.Right?
Wouldn't put it past Dana to try to do special events a few times a year.
Stack it with Conor and his stars under a ppv model. Maybe give Paramount one free advertisement.
Agree. 100%.I would sue if I were Paramount. They are paying for the whole ka-bang.
People thinking UFC can just fuck them over without repercussions are trippin
In 1979 there were around 300 million television sets in households world wide. In 1975 it was probably 60% of that number (68-69 million in the US). A somewhat significant number of them were in communist countries. That number is just not realistic even if you add people going to bars/movie theaters.Did you know that Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frezer 3 sold a whopping 100.000.000 PPV buys (It is still to this day the biggest fight of all times)
