I'm not Murican but didn't you have to have an ESPN subscription to be able to buy PPV's?

Even if not, would that really be out of the realm of possibilities?

I think there might have been other ways to buy PPVs without going through ESPN but I did hear that was a "requirement".

I havent bought a PPV since 2003. At the time, PPVs were like $24.95 and they raised the price supposedly for a "one time" event when Couture vs Ortiz happened and the price never went back down, just kept going up so Tito vs Handy was the last PPV I bought.
