and what incentive do they have to stack the numbered cards like they do with the PPVs?
Viewship numbers. The numbered cards will also be on CBS who I'm sure are also paying big money, and they will want more eyes on the numbered cards so when the time comes to reup the contract they can point to the viewship. They're exclusively on paramount and CBS, so it's not like they are tossing them the matchmaking scraps and then keeping the good fights for something else. That's all there is.

I really don't care what outlet there on. PPV is gone is massive bonus for any US fan.

ask that question in 6 months or a year. the rate is going to go up, just a question of when. they're only playing fair for a trial period.

I enjoy this partnership ji 👍🏽

ESPN always freeze wideo streaming during commercial break now requiring restart. Meanwhile illegal stream is smooth as lassi so I have heard. ESPN maybe going full hater mode after seeing writings in the walls haanji

If true it is huge shameful act, certainly Waheguru surely shaking head at such bachkana harkat 🤏🏾🏳️‍🌈 Hopefully also bring blessing to Paramount+

Paramount had done a fantastic job with their streaming service.

All these clown channels that started their own service to compete with Netflix are laughable, but the one service that keeps tempting me has been paramount. They keep making hit shows I want to watch and having good movies. I've done the free trial and came very close to subscribing but decided against it as I have too many subs already.

However, I strongly suspect Disney Plus will incorporate Hulu content and raise their price. And then I'll be done with them and will likely subscribe to Paramount instead.

UFC completely lost me as a hardcore fan for years after the ESPN+ debacle, but this deal might get me back into it.

I hate to sound like a sucker or super naive, but even if I end up spending $30-$40/month to watch all UFC's (as opposed to $12.99), I'll be pretty happy.

Love. At least for now, $7.99 for all PPVs and Fight Night cards. The streaming itself can't be worse than ESPN.

It might not be a great deal for the fighters but well, I'm not a fighter. Very fan-friendly deal and UFC is making more money than they have ever made with this.

I imagine they at least make you pay for the Premium plan ($12.99) like they did for Showtime access.

Even then, paying $12.99 for the biggest card of the year and getting a month of Paramount+ would be a steal.

I expect they either hike the price by time the deal starts, or lock it to an annual subscription.

not dealing with espn plus is a huge win
I agree. I have had a bunch of problems with ESPN. I used to have paramount for a show I was watching but canceled. Easy enough to cancel ESPN and renew Paramount. Plus no ppv once a month. The fans in North America win on this deal.

I have a feeling ESPN was going to renew if we didn't this, so I love it. However, lets wait and see what it brings. Have a feeling UFC is going to charge for stuff like Jones or Conor or if anyone new reaches their level.

It's all still new but apparently, they said you will get it with the 7.99 deal too just with adds. It's probably worth paying 12.99 to be ad free but at least you have options.

The people who use the Russian pirated stream give zero fucks.

The biggest win might be watching it in sports bars without cover charges. Overall it can grow the sport too

The downside is they may have less drive to put on exceptional events to drive PPV sales, but the silver lining is that this may mean less Conor-ism (obsession with marketable fighters headlining)

1/3 of the roster is coming from DWCS right now. Quality will remain the same or worsen and quantity will go up.
You realize DWCS is just regional guys that they would be signing anyway, right? Lol what a weird gripe.

I have Paramount + for the NFL games. If I can get UFC events as well, that is icing on the cake. It seems too good to be true. There will probably be an upcharge for the fights.

Paramount paid 1.5 billion to South Park for 5 years... & I'd assume the Democratic shill company is responsible for South Park now making non-stop anti-Trump propaganda. Pretty much ruined teh show. I mean 1 or 2 eps like that is okay, but non-stop, every single episode shows a glaring agenda & teh same subject matter gets old on any series.

I'm not sure how they can slip that stuff past Dana who'z buddies with Trump, but I'm sure they'll try.

Really looking forward to them trying a new "no PPVs" model.

It's still too early to tell, but since i already pay for Paramount+ , and have no use for ESPN+ , this sounds like a great deal for me. I am just skeptic about pricing.

Nah, I like cats, interesting females with great tits and ass, max 5.7, making art, cooking great meals, working out, leaving myself under the overwhelming experience hiking the alps and climbing some mountains, fresh air, that drops down your lungs like the most pristine water and the stories my 9 year old son tells me.
