Not much. I don't think it would have made much, if any difference. America prolonged the spread, and actually made a better effort at keeping it out (the only thing that really could have prevented it) than most other countries.

How did America make a better effort keeping it out when travel was banned months after it started spreading and weeks after hundreds of cases have been reported?

Full circle...

Two weeks ago it was hoax to make him look bad.

Last week it was the democrats fault.

Then it was Europe's fault (but not the UK)

Yesterday it was Obama's fault.

At 3pm Eastern standard time, President Trump will declare a national emergency.

Tomorrow...? My money is back to probably Nancy Pelosi.

Trump is coincidental, big pharm has a habit of pushing out vaccines out of nothingburgers

who else stands to make billions from this?

On the one hand you float this as a reasonable suspicion.

On the other you cite all the virus scares of the last 15 years and ask why there was never this same sort of "overreaction" prior to COVID-19.

Find a coherent narrative, dude.

Yes TYT but I pretty much explain the key points in my post.

She is right you know and she should point out that fact given the dangers of coronavirus already death in the US by someone who has contracted the virus. There has been children as young as 45 days who have died from the virus and we have actual cases appearing across the Country in more and more states at a rapid rise. We need people who have dealt with actual dangerous viruses such as Ebola and SARS. I think many Republicans think the same way but are afraid of making their opinions known and recent comments by President Trump leads me to believe he may have a change of heart by the end of the week.

Edit Point too I like Pence but he is not the man for the job. I don't think by his reactions he really wanted to be in charge of this effort because the damage is already happening.

I made it 29 seconds. AOC doesn't believe in borders, yet is going to lecture the rest of us about public health in the middle of a pandemic that didn't originate in our country? Neat.

it's back to being a hoax
Real talk. You should be banned. You're a huge piece of shit for spreading lies that can lead morons like yourself to not take something that can potentially kill thousands and thousands of people seriously.

I was predicting a trump victory but this virus and the bungled federal response is the black swan event that will sink him in November. If there was ever a "this is it" moment, this is it!

US Coronavirus 1,760 Currently Infected Patients 1,750 (99%) in Mild Condition 10 (1%) Serious or Critical

please give me a reason why this should be considered a pandemic. this thing has NOTHING on the flu, absolutely NOTHING.

I sited exactly one previous pandemic

it just happens that one pandemic was based on fake fatality rates

I don't think so. Voters are not going to blame him for a Chinese pandemic no matter how much the media tries to push that bs. No believes what they say anyway. It might inadvertently just piss people off and motivate them to support him. Like trying to blame Bush for Katrina did. It's so transparent.

They certainly will hold him accountable for his contribution to building an illusory booming economy that was little more than a bubble funded by unrealistically cheap capital, however. He’s gotta hope the Fed and Treasury can prop it up for a while longer.

I don’t think anyone is blaming Trump for the existence of the virus, but this is his first real test as President. Bush had 9/11, Obama had the recession, these events defined their presidencies and lifted them to reelection. Trump inherited a strong economy, and it’s stayed strong, but he hasn’t had anything hugely disruptive happen under his administration yet, so this moment is the test that shows the American people if he’s competent to lead.

If the steps he takes in the coming days help slow/stop the spread of the virus, and the economy rebounds in a few months, Trump will likely be re-elected in a landslide. If things continue to get worse into the summer, he won’t stand a chance.

Nope.

Is there any other leader in the world except for Trump that is being blamed for the coronavirus?

I haven't seen anyone else criticized for it.

Is he being blamed for Coronavirus, or is he being criticized for his lack of leadership and poor response to Coronavirus? The first is nonsense; the latter is understandable.

No. Our travel ban was first. Other countries got it faster, and so far worse. You trying to tie this to Trump is a disease of your mind. You think Italians are blaming this on one person? Really ANYBODY? Start using your own brain again.
