Just felt extremely drained after the squats. Didn't have it today. Time to stop benching thrice a week and get some pressing back in here.

Also got in some cable pull throughs. Unquantifiable in terms of poundages...full stack (no indication on iron bricks as to how much each weighs, probably 5 kilos each but that is speculation).

Conditioning

Some 40 meter sprints

BW squats. push ups, lunges, situps x a bunch. Three minutes of not stopping.

Once again, I loathe this shit.

Squats were not too bad, rep 5 of set 2 was not very good at all. At that point I was worried about the third set, took a short breather and turned off the Comeback Kid and pumped Mosely by August Burns Red. That song lets me hit pretty good numbers. I have listened to it for all my PRs.

Bench was easy as well. This is where I am embarrassed most though. My bench press sucks.

Awesome squatting You have a higher 5rm then me. Nice.

August burns red is good stuff .

Back at the Y today. Pulls were easy due to sweet knurling, no grips issues whatsoever.

FS worksets would have been easy had a not smashed my hand between a 45 and a wall whilst unracking to place said 45 on my bar. My racking became

Squats felt pretty good for the first two sets. Set three felt ok save the last rep. Press used to be my horrible-ist lift, happy with the progress here. I'm getting fat, hence the terrible chinning.

I hate the dead lift when at the new gym.

First time doing the Zercher squat, interesting. I am not nearly flexible enough in the wrists to properly perform the front squat for high pounds. plus I have short stubs for fingers so racking sucks even for low weights. Zercher, while slightly uncomfortable, is far more comfortable to perform than the FS.

Squats are getting hard now. I think I have maybe 10lbs more in me before a stall ensues. Maybe it's time to get a belt. The lonely 315 was to check depth - depth was good, below parallel.

Press was going ok but I was pretty fatigued by that point. Tried a wider grip, pinky on rings, did not like this at all. I normally press with a narrow grip, index finger partially off of knurling. Wide grip felt really good for the warm-ups, I drove my head through much easier and lock out looked...more locked out. I shouldn't be upset though, I still recall failing 135 for 1 rep not long ago.

On another note; it is very difficult to locate 2.5lbs plate in this gym. I found one. What was one doing all alone by the squat racks? Who knows. It was as if someone hid the other and was hoarding the other sets. Going find these to need to for Monday.

Conditioning

~1 mile run -- high intensity (only for the fact that there were snow drifts everywhere that went anywhere from 1-3 feet, lungs on fire halfway through).

SLDL

205x5x3

Squats were feeling pretty good on the first set until rep 4. After that everything felt heavy. The second set went alright and rep 5 was a possibility but with another set to go I opted out of it. Third set was heavy, my legs were shaking after the third rep quite badly and rep 4 was extremely slow out of the hole.

Bench felt really good. The missed reps are most certainly due to rest periods that were too short, especially between set 2 and 3. Roll of shame makes me feel shameful.

BORs were very sloppy, I've never done more than 185 for rows so that is to be expected. Got in the SLDLs to get in some hamstring work and strengthen the posterior chain. Posterior chain definitely feels like the weak point on squats and DLs. Time permitting SLDLs to be added to Monday/Friday superset with either rows or chins.

Squats felt good, very deep.

Press was going alright, seems I have stalled on it however. Push press will be the movement from here out for a bit.

Deadlift felt heavy, no surprise there as I normally place it first on Wednesdays. First rep of 355 I vomited slightly. Took a small breather and continued. 4th rep was a bit of a grinder and rep 5 was the cleanest of all.

Funny, I always thought I was pulling the slack out of the bar before extending the legs. Clearly I was wrong when rep 5 was fairly easy compared with the other 4 lifts.

You should post vomit x1 PR lol. Nice pulling definitely getting better with time.
