Solid KZ fan here. And yeah I want KZ to be the champ. But Mendes is no doubt #2 in the world basing on the fact that he's undefeated in the WEC and has wins vs known guys like Koch, Swanson. It's just that KZ's fights are way more exciting than Mendes'. KZ maybe top 5.

A win over Mendes legitimizes KZ's claim to the title shot. Mendes is what Florian was to KZ's Maynard should they decide to fight and KZ wins. And vice versa, Mendes would have a great argument for a title shot with a win over KZ.

You obviously haven't watched KZ's past fight and his Leben-like brawls. He won't get that 'Zombie' label if his chin is not that good. Roop just landed him in the right spot, just like how Pacquiao. Manny hasn't been rocked for like a decade but Marquez caught him clean on the right spot

Anyone in the 155lbs or even 170lbs division would've been knocked out like the Zombie with Roops kick in the right spot. Zombie has not ever gone down from punches. Not even once.....
