Our aging power grid is just another one of those problems that are swept under the rug, but have the possibility to fuck us up hardcore. Drinking/irrigations water issues, aging roads and highways, antibiotic resistance, etc., etc... In the end it comes down to too many people for a limited number of resources.

We have plenty of water here. We dump millions of gallons of flood water back into the Ocean every winter. Our Politicians are just too woke and in the pockets of special interests to build us another much needed Reservoir.

The US has an infrastructure problem in general, which includes the power grid. And everything else you said can be debunked by a google search.

BTW, the top 10 states with the highest crime rates are all red states with exception to Maryland and sometimes Nevada which votes red or blue depending on the election.

To make it cost more for them to do business therefore offsetting the social cost of their pollution. And plenty of businesses are coming in anyway. And here’s why else it doesn’t matter. All those taxes are offset by the really low property tax, which can’t be above 1% of a property’s value. So that makes up for a lot.
