Californians

You can bet on it, bro. I'll be voting for the democrats straight down the line just like I did back in New York. As soon as my mail-in ballot arrives next week that is.
This right here is the problem! Dems destroy one place after another and for some weird reason people like you are about to do the same thing to Arizona. Strange sickness.

Hey, there's no "sickness" involved. I'm simply exercising my right as an American to vote for the candidates who I feel best represent my interests & ideologies. I've been a democrat since I was 18 years old. What am I supposed to do? Suddenly vote republican because I moved to Arizona? Sorry, that's not going to happen.

You voting the way you want in a new state isn't sick at all.

If not for the gerrymandering and anti-democratic electoral college the Republicans would not have had a president elected or been able to achieve any kind of house majority since the first Bush. Now THAT is pretty sickening, for a "Democracy".

No, the sickness is continuing to vote democrat because "I've been a democrat since I was 18 years old", despite the fact that the modern democrat party has moved so far the left it has little in common with the democrat party of your youth, and even less with the party of JFK. If you work, if you're a homeowner, if you're a gunowner, if you still want a semblance of law and order, if you value personal responsibility, if you value the constitution, if you value the autonomy of local government, you should not still be voting for democrats.

Hey, I realize I am not going to convince you of anything and you are going to do your thing. I just think that modern liberalism isn't really liberalism at all and people who vote for it either haven't been paying attention/are sick themselves/are ideological to a fault.

Your interests suck. And they tend to fuck states and cities up...but keep on thinking the world is better off

It's coming from a lot of pro-Trump, ultra-right-wing haters who despise California because they know that it'll never "go red". Same with New York. Although, for some reason, they have extra hate for California. Especially SoCal & the Bay area.
I think it's comical how pissed off they get at the state & pretty much anyone from there.

I was on a Facebook group devoted to the Sedona area last night & there was an idiot who wrote the vilest things to me when I mentioned that I'm originally from New York & that Jana's from California. He was apoplectic about the fact that we moved to "his" state & that we're going to "flip" it blue. It was hysterical how upset he was. I'm surprised he didn't have a bloody aneurism as he was typing. Of course, I deliberately said things to further anger him but not until he got rude first. After that, I gave it to him both barrels. :D

The entire Republican mindset since Reagan is encapsulated beautifully inside one 50 second video. A third barrel, for next time.

I clearly said that I'm voting for the candidates who represent my interests & ideologies. So, I haven't just been voting as a democrat like some mindless automaton, thank you very much. I've evolved & changed along with the party over the years.

And yes, my wife & I do happen to work, we own three houses here in Arizona now that my father in law has passed, we're gun owners, we feel that the police need to be reformed, we believe in personal responsibility but we also believe that there should be a strong social safety net, we value the constitution as written not in the one that Trump & his acolytes trample on daily, & we're both involved in local government in both the city of Sedona level & the Yavapai County level.

Thanks for chatting.

If you truly believe that you're better off with democrats then you're just disconnected from reality. It's also very convenient how your ideologies have evolved and changed in lockstep with the party you've always identified with! How convenient. And yes, we are all aware of the houses you inherited, since you talk about it in so many of your posts! Maybe you should be a good socialist and give two of them away? ;)

Well, guess what? Just as you believe that I'm "disconnected from reality" for being a democrat, I believe that you're a sociopath for being a republican. It is what it is. So, what's the point in continuing this conversation? I've honestly got more entertaining things to do.

That's not a slight against you. It's been fun. But this blue vs red argument becomes redundant rather quickly.

You come across like a bit of a sociopath actually. And this whole "I've evolved and changed along with the party" line is a strong clue that a person lacks the intelligence to form their own opinions. I suspect you just parrot the party line because after all, you've always been a democrat.

And like every one of your ilk you found it impossible to have a conversation with someone with opposing views without resorting to slinging insults. That's OK though. I knew it was coming. You're incapable of anything else.

What I find hilarious is that a Trump acolyte like yourself is accusing me of being intellectually compromised. <45>

Please, most of you are so indoctrinated into his cult that you'd publically fellate the man on the white house lawn.

There is no debate here. If your views have evolved in lockstep with the democrat party as you suggest how could you possibly be thinking for yourself? Of course you could not. The idea that there were things you knew were right until a party leader told you to think otherwise is Orwellian. You're brainwashed. Learn to think for yourself and don't just blindly follow your party leader.

I have my own beliefs, and enough of them align with Trumps vision for the country that I support him. If he, or the republican party, suddenly "evolved" to have fundamentally different ones I would not blindly follow them to the point of aligning my own thought to suit theirs the way you have.

Be your own man. Be confident and steadfast. Learn to think independently.

I'm leaving this discussion. You are far too naive when it comes to the world around you and it's become boring trying to explain things to you!

Its now smokey and raining ash in washington state.

Will california ever stop fucking with us peaceful, freedom loving washingtonians?

<Lmaoo>
Says the poor mindless sap who can't even create a signature on a Karate forum without mentioning his man-love for Trump. It's hysterical.

So that's a no then on giving away a few of your properties?

Because socialism.

Isn't it neat how the successful "libtards" moral values only project outwards?

Can you expand on the last sentence? I'm not getting sweet involved again because understandably he's done.
I've only recent discovered how very liberal I am after @Aegon Spengler knowing me for a few years broke it down what my views are. But I think it would be via candidate rather than by party. I know I would have been Barrack if I could though.

There is an accusation that social services aka universal healthcare is “robbing from the rich” so to speak, usually someone will say “if you want the poor to have healthcare just give them your personal money, don’t try to take mine. ”

I mean, that’s not a good way to build a country in my opinion, but some feel like it is.
