DDP by decision. he's going to confuse khazmat thoroughly but won't be able to get the finish.

DDP is like the modern day, vastly more successful version of keith jardine. the uglier it gets, the better for him.

Most people would be sent to the shadow realm after that hit, the slo mo version is especially brutal.

No one is immune to getting knocked out or down, but most wouldnt win after a hit like this.

Also, to be fair, you should post the gif of dricus getting sent to the shadow realm by soldic as comparison to how the two takes a hard hit flush.

Comparing soldic to burns is silly: Burns' knockout rate is 13%, and half his career was at lightweight. Soldic's knockout rate is 85%, with fights at welterweight and middleweight.

Burns has finished one welterweight with strikes in his entire career, and it was 42 year old Maia. Burns was never a big hitter. Getting hurt like that from burns is not a good sign. That said, the more worrying part was how open khamzat was for that counter in the first place. Also, khamzat cut too much weight for WW in my opinion. He may be more durable up at MW

Dricus by late TKO stoppage. Rd 4 or 5.

Khamzat comes out guns blazing in the first 2 rounds, and is all over DDP, but expends a huge amount of energy.

Du Plessis takes good damage but toughs it out and drowns him late.

DDP could grind out a decision, or even late TKO. But he will have to survive a round of being wrestlefucked harder than he has ever been.

This might be a stupid comparison but he kind of reminds me of a better version of 'Darth' Bader.

Imo those were the 2 hardest shots burns landed in his entire life. Khamzat ran right into the first one chin up hands down, 2nd one was around the temple area while he was already was on skates. Anyone have the slo mo gif of the first one?

In general tho, I dont really disagree with you. The burns shots were the epitomy of even a broken clock...

Do you think alot of fighters with bad chin could take those two shots from burns like that and still be conscious?

Hot take but i have a draw in that order:
Chimaev 10-8, 10-9
Du Plessis 10-9, 10-9 and 10-9

I dont see Dricus getting 10-8'd. If its going that bad, he will probably get tapped.

I think Dricus will get a late KO personally assuming he survives the first round but Im sure he's been preparing for the onslaught.

Ima go with Dricus getting the stop

Let's call it inside 3 rounds.

I could be very wrong, wouldn't be the first or last time. But I think dricus is gonna not let Khamzat rest and press him and overload the system. I don't suspect Khamzat will "quit" but I do believe his body could fail him. I question his lungs post covid and whatever the fuck he had that made him swell up in the face like something out of Charlie and the Chocolate factory, that shit ain't a good sign

Khamzat's chin is probably better at MW.
