I will watch last fight again.

I see Ank doing fine like last fight, just once he get Alex hurt again, he will try to finish more aggressively, he had those chances last time but played it safe.

I got Ankalaev by KO. Pereira struggled with his speed the first time around and Ank doesn’t leave himself open for counters very often.

I think Ankalaev gets him down in round 2, works him over and demoralizes him a lot, and by round 4 he gets the TKO with a ref stoppage from ground and pound on an exhausted Poatan.

If Poatan was 40% last time now he will be 39 or less. He started to look bad in Khalil fight - he lost first 2 rounds to a guy that is not even elite. Then Rountree gassed and Alex finished him but still it was weird performance. I know that there were some injuries but still... after that he was very awkward and not himself in Ank fight. IMO now we will see downward spiral for Pereira. Magomed is type of fighter who is doing minimal thing to win and he is only able to finish guys that are B or C class. Against Poatan he will win decision - 4 to 1 or 3 to 2. Just my 25 cents.
I rather be wrong and see awesome fight but we will see past prime Pereira. Off night happens once. Not twice in a row. It can't be accident.

He absolutley did not look bad in that fight at all.

He knew that it took everything Khalil had to keep him off of him. An experienced kickboxer like Poatan knows, Khalil cant keep that intensity up for the whole fight, hes gonna get tired, and that's when Poatan can calmly pick him apart.

He has already shown that he can stave off Ankalaev’s takedown attempts, he just needs to let his hands go more…

I don’t think he stops Ankalaev, as Ankalaev is a very savvy and tough fighter, but Pereira should be able to land cleaner and more often
