Elections Biden challenges Trump to debate next month. Trump says he accepts.

It's funny, the mic cut stipulation has a twofold purpose. 1.) To stop Trump when he tries to cut Biden off when he is speaking. 2.) To cut Biden off whenever he starts to ramble incoherently.

I'll go one more step, they should do 2 different tasks: planning and response simulation.

Phase 1: Planning

Each candidate gets their team of 10 people and 8 weeks to do a 4yr operating plan for the country. Voters get to see who the appointees will be and what they will do when in office. The other side gets to critique/debate the operating plan. Once elected, the operating plan of the winning candidate (that was presented pre-election) is locked and loaded .


Phase 2: response simulation

Candidate gets a team of 10 people, 3 crises, and 4hrs to come up with a plan. They are isolated with only paper and pen, and the facts of the 'situation' that are available. Each candidate, and their team then presents their plan to the voters.

How about each candidate and their team members has to sign a COI before the election that lasts 10yrs after their term and covers any policy that their administration is involved in during their term. Yup, that probably means a 14yr blind trust.

How does a guy who claimed he can't hold down a job because of brain damage get 10% support in a presidential bid?

I want to see Biden as RFK how his ex-wife is making out since he screwed her out of alimony by using the inability to work for a living as an excuse. Trump is a scumbag and may stiff a lot of people but never his exes, apparently ;)

Shit, even the Obama-McCain and Obama-Romney debates had substance. It’s only since Trump came on the scene that they are completely worthless.

No one's talking 'stabalized the oil markets' and 'Closed the border' because they were problems he caused and could have fixed at any time, but strategically chose to fix them only 5 months before the presidentual election.

And lets be honest here, he didn't make these decisions, his handlers did.

And that's why it'll be of no surprise whatsoever if both go back to complete shit immediately after the election.
