But off screen she was in her shitty apartment taking an ice tray out of the freezer on top of the fridge and dropped a cube, bent down to pick it up but the upper freezer door was still open so she hit her head while standing up and that killed her
That was a Skrull impersonator. The real Jane always wears her retard hockey helmet when getting ice out of the freezer.

You're right, Jane did walk in on the dead Skrull later and slipped on melty ice water and broke her neck on a wooden chair and also died

Just watched it again, just made me appreciate the movie a bit more:

- the camera angles during the first part of the movie where the children of thanos arrive on earth was really good. people running for their lives and it had the "end of times" vibe to it.
- it was stupid for tyrion no to have the handle ready while forging stormbreaker, but made me appreciate groot more. he winced in pain as he held the blades together, this dude knows his priorities because he even had to stop gaming to do this. :D
- the thanos and Gomorrah scene in vormir was well written and put sympathy points towards thanos. the "im sorry little one, throws Gomorrah off the cliff while he still had tears in his eyes really differentiated thanos from all villains. he knew this was his duty.
- again the battle in titan was pretty nice. Stark and Strange for MVP. Strange probably a bit higher because he was closely orchestrating the battle according to that one possibility that had them win.
- Cap was able to connect a one two them uppercut to thanos. this guy is really down to bang!
- it was sad hearing vision tell wanda that "it's not fair, but you're the one who can do it" as he begs for wanda to destroy the stone.
- again it was sad seeing Thanos talk to little Gomorrah after the snap. When she asks "but what did it cost?", and Thanos says "everything". the feels

I know this has been said a lot of times already, but they really did a good job with Thanos. I like the fact that he doesn't even bother killing the heroes, he just shoves them out of his way and goes on to fulfill his plans. This made him really likeable IMO and I would be curious how the fans would react when he's defeated in IW2.
This could have been a really generic Even More Explosions! style movie with so much going on, but they made sure to stick to the same character motivations from throughout the films. And the way they handled Thanos was beyond my expectations.

Honestly I feel he should have been in the background of the earlier movies more, and I was worried he would show up and look like a one note villain because of lack of prior build up. But making him essentially the protagonist of the movie and centering so much of it around him was a brilliant move. He gets plenty of time to express his POV and have his own arc.

It really is incredible that with so many characters and so much going on the movie still has great pacing, and never feels like it's all over the place with stuff just happening to advance the plot. Again their patience in building all of these characters meticulously beforehand shows.

They didn't have Thanos locked down in earlier movies

I liked how they called that out in this movie tho

Strange: .... who?

Maybe in an Iron Man movie? Or maybe Spider-Man Homecoming. I forget. Maybe it was in a movie where Paltrow wasn't in it and that's what they used to explain why.

Mary Jane would tell Spidey "Go get 'em, tiger." Other comic book signif others would go and kick some ass alongside the hero, or at least provide background tech support.
Eh MJ would also tell him don't get involved with THAT scenario, you're gonna die. She worried about him and resented not being able to have a normal life with him, and they fought over it and broke up over it various times in the comics.

Not enough Cap though..
Would have liked a little more screen time for him, but when he was on screen it was important. I felt like part of that was Civil War essentially being an Avengers movie with Cap getting a lot of screen time.

Not enough for Cap to do tho

So a Sniper could have taken out Thanos with all 6 stones.. Fuck the Avengers, where's the U.S army?

What about the U.N?

Did Thor not aim for the head in any of the millions of possible futures that Strange looked into?

What an idiot

Seemed like a hard to control situation, All thor could do was aim at Thanos somehow

Get that big gut / target area

Thor fucked up by hesitating and trying to taste revenge instead of immediately grabbing and restriking with the axe

also we saw Bucky full on shoot thanos with guns to no effect
