The mom jeans at least. LEAST.
That relationship is directly an amalgam of ultimates and regular Spiderman.
Regular universe spiderman did see Tony as a mentor, and did get a suit from him that is very similar to the one used in the movies.
And ultimates Peter was the teenage version.
I actually quite enjoyed it because merging the two characters the way they did makes a lot of sense. The paternal relationship 616 Peter and Tony have just fits better with Ultimates teenage Spider-Man.Yep! It was great in the comics and has been great in the movies.

Captain Britain?
He means Captain Marvel.Captain Britain?
I'd puke in my Mouth , "Captain" Marvel has been so poorly written over the last decade hopefully the MCU version is not as insufferable. He means Captain Marvel.
INFINITY WAR is the best rendition of Tony putting on the suit, hands down.

It was the best way to do something different with spidey. This is a character that already had 5 movies behind him. 5! Plus a major role in civil war!
Watching homecoming I didn’t even notice...
Without doing an origin story (which would have been boring) how do you make the character new and exciting?
Do what Marvel did, that’s what!
His relationship with Stark really made this version of the character feel unique by giving us all something fresh we hadn’t seen before.
This direction even sets the stage for a future story where the pupil masters the teacher and becomes a man, which will resonate with a new high school audience that is going to grow up alongside this version of Spider-Man.
‘Twas a bloody brilliant move imo
“Have you ever seen this really old movie, ALIENS?”I like his dialogue lines also. Spider-man says a lot of one-liner jokes, and other random talk/facts thrown in. So his pop culture references work very well. While I liked the first 2 Spiderman movies, they lacked Spider man having any comedic element to him. Moreover, the movies with Garfield were so bad, that I don't even have an opinion on his performance.

Just watched it again, just made me appreciate the movie a bit more:
- the camera angles during the first part of the movie where the children of thanos arrive on earth was really good. people running for their lives and it had the "end of times" vibe to it.
- it was stupid for tyrion no to have the handle ready while forging stormbreaker, but made me appreciate groot more. he winced in pain as he held the blades together, this dude knows his priorities because he even had to stop gaming to do this.
- the thanos and Gomorrah scene in vormir was well written and put sympathy points towards thanos. the "im sorry little one, throws Gomorrah off the cliff while he still had tears in his eyes really differentiated thanos from all villains. he knew this was his duty.
- again the battle in titan was pretty nice. Stark and Strange for MVP. Strange probably a bit higher because he was closely orchestrating the battle according to that one possibility that had them win.
- Cap was able to connect a one two them uppercut to thanos. this guy is really down to bang!
- it was sad hearing vision tell wanda that "it's not fair, but you're the one who can do it" as he begs for wanda to destroy the stone.
- again it was sad seeing Thanos talk to little Gomorrah after the snap. When she asks "but what did it cost?", and Thanos says "everything". the feels
I know this has been said a lot of times already, but they really did a good job with Thanos. I like the fact that he doesn't even bother killing the heroes, he just shoves them out of his way and goes on to fulfill his plans. This made him really likeable IMO and I would be curious how the fans would react when he's defeated in IW2.
Reported.I forgive Space Tyrion, he's all fucked up, no hands lost all his friends - disorganized mess and didn't prepare properly to make Stormbreaker so suddenly / maybe didn't believe Thor could really get the space lava flowing
Who says he's defeated in IW2
He may get away in a purple Thanos themes space ship yelling
"I'll get you NEXT TIME you pesky Avengers!!! WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
