You have no idea what you are talking about. Contrarians just like to be special, to annoy people, to be nonconformists. They do not see the world one way... they don't see it at all. They all go against the flow for the reasons I mentioned here. This is basically a form of trolling, a less direct one, but still a form of trolling.
Fights are risky and time consuming. Even with a win or just in training you can suffer a severe injury. The amount of them you can have is finite. If Stipe vs Jones is happening in November, no real reason to fight at all until that business is concluded.
If it gets cancelled again and they dont just make him champion, some serious shit is gonna go down.

Good evening Sir. GSP is the greatest WW of all time. However, Stipe’s resume has some loses he never avenged (Struve) and/or never had the trilogy to see who was the better man (JDS, Ngannou).
Theres no reason for him to avenge Struve and no reason to fight JDS again. Ngannou took himself out of the game so that is also no knock on Stipe. Context matters, people.

How many HW champions did Stipe beat? Werdum, JDS, DC, Arlovski, Francis. Isn't that 5 which is > Francis' 4? Stipe's resume is > Francis' in MMA IMO.
You can definitely argue that, however, when they met Ngannou was the one who put Stipe out most recently. While Stipe could only decision him and now we will never know who wins the trilogy. Had Ngannou stayed we all know the Jones/Stipe fight would not even be on the radar. HW is a shit show
Stipe and Jones is a done deal but that doesnt contradict Aspinall's attitude. They are fucking fighting in November. He doesnt have to fight before that. Anyone siding against Aspinall can suck a dog's titty. Keep fucking complaining about who he fought when he is being ducked by Jones and the corpse of Stipe they just exhumed.
