I'm 32 and make about 30% more than the average swedish person.. which is still mediocre by american standards.. there are a lot of ceo's, doctors and high level managers banking 70-100k here and about 6% make a 100k or more..
I also grew up dirt poor so even though my income is ok i'm not even playing the same game as those who got their first appartment from their parents or got to inherit something..
I don't even see a path to making 100k+ from work.. the median salery for a specialist doctor here is around 90k.. sure, investments, property value etc can push you over those numbers but like a straight up job paying 100 000 or more flat is like a unicorn..
Jeeezus, even by socialized healthcare standards, that's absolute shit pay for a specialist
I get paid in 'likes'.
Right now I'm existing on state and fed unemployment til July or so. Ask me again once I get a job...
- How much do you get paid approximately per month/year ?
- Is it enough to cover your needs ?
- Do you think you should be paid more ?

Nope. Plenty to go around if we didn't overpopulate the joint, and if a small percentage didn't control the vaste majority of resources. So its better that everyone is poor ?
- define needs?

Plus you pay like 30 to 50 percent taxes from that trololololol
If its a progressive tax structure then its tiered remember? Only the highest brackets get taxed at that rate.
But yeah it may legit come out to 30% of your income
not sure about sweden but its near 50 in here if you break 100k
So if you make over 100k? Its 50%
So if you make 110k a year. The 10k over 100k is fully taxed at 50%. Which is 5k.
The money under 100k is taxed at the other tax brackets
Yeah, we're looking for a house now.. but we're talking mid city or La Mesa. We really don't want to spend more than $500k. It's crazy to think that people that make much less than we do are buying $600-700k houses here.
