Are the Dagestani' losing their edge OR are other's catching up????

Didn't they go 4-0 or 5-0 on yesterday's card?

They just went 3-0 vs Conor's boys in PFL 🇷🇺>🇨🇮
I don't think one loss supports your theory very well🙃

BTW, anyone seen any mean tweets from McNuggets yet??😝
Lolol Conor lives rent free in ur head. Shoalin eating Cheerios in the morning shadow boxing... "Hey mom, member when khabib threw that overhand on Conor!? I knew he'd Conor back for that dolly, I just knew it! Hamdullah"

Exactly. There are unrealistic expectations put on so many fighters from that area of the world as if it is some sort of automatic cheat code, which is why you see guys praised for something as simple as defending a takedown against one of these Dagestani fighters. The reality is it’s no different than anywhere else in the world in that they produce fighters of all skill levels.

in soccer there's a phenom that happens at every world cup, were the winning nation is hailed as some kind of "new breed of talent that will dominate the sport for years to come" and then said nation go and gets eliminated in the group stages of the next world cup, cause there is no such thing as a "new breed" or "a special talent pool", it just that at that exact moment, said country had, by luck, various good players at the same time, and when that moment stops, they become a normal national team again

abdulmanap was really good, and all his pupils are really good, cause they feed on eachother and all, but outside that particular camp, dagestanis lose in mma all the time
there is no "magical dirt"

Well considering Islam won, Tahir won, Umar fought a very close 5 round fight with merab (who is a beast and a special in his own right) with a broken hand in the first round and Usman had a very close fight but Usman was always the one they talked about that has the worst work ethic since he is lazy.

I don't think their dominance has changed. With that said, other teams/countries are definitely coming up as whenever you have 1 team or person dominating anything, it raises the bar for the entire sport and others will rise up to challenge them through hard work, determination, will, etc.
