I am. I like both guys, but one has been protected for way too long, and the other guy has put in all the work, but gets very little credit for it. So I'm rooting for the latter to get some well deserved credit finally.

ankalaev's best chance to win is a ground and pound finish, although Ankalaev is primarily a striker, he can still shoot good takedowns. He took down krylov, jan blachowciz, volkan eozdemir who are all decent wrestlers. He also 10-8 Jan in round 5 with ground and pound. I think there's a decent chance he gets pereira down, gets on top of him and just postures to land ground and pound and either 10-8s him or finishes him on the ground. On the feet it will be difficult for him due to the leg kicks and alex's size

Personally, unless I have a personal connection to a fighter, I oftentimes don't care who wins as long as it's a good fight. This is one of them.
