You might be right. Time will tell.If anyone was willing to elect a literal conman due to immigration issues then said individual deserves to be conned on immigration issues.

President Donald Trump speaks at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Jan. 25, 2018. Trump’s loyalists are lashing out against his proposal to give path to citizenship for nearly 2 million “Dreamers.”
NEW YORK — Fearing betrayal on a signature campaign issue, President Donald Trump’s loyalists are lashing out against his proposal to create a path to citizenship for nearly 2 million so-called Dreamer immigrants.
Trump-aligned candidates from Nevada and Virginia rejected the notion outright. A loyal media ally, Breitbart News, attacked him as “Amnesty Don.” And outside groups that cheered the hardline rhetoric that dominated Trump’s campaign warned of fierce backlash against the president’s party in November’s midterm elections.

But, but, but the economy, sure does sound a lot like fuck my wife while I watch right now.
Trump is threatening to sell his supporters out, and it is quiet like a church around here.
If you are still a Trump supporter right now, explain to me how you don't actually believe in nothing?
Explain to me how you can defend Amnesty Don.
Explain your support for the President of the United States, Donald Rino Amnesty.
I get that but at sometime you have to tackle the floodgates being open. Not doing anything and talking about it for how long obviously does not work ! The more that come the more US spends a year on them. So what would you do, going after company's and E-verify is a part of the defense in depth layers. But that won't stop people coming to a better country
He can't do that, he's a racist.
What?
Perhaps you haven't seen the tweets.
Trump 2012

I am not a racist.
Trump 2013

I am a racist.
I'm not sure why you're surprised by this. The guy is a businessman that wants people to like him. He's got a massive ego. He knows deporting the dreamers is massively unpopular and he doesn't want to be unpopular.Seems like a massive cuck move. At this point I'm not even surprised anymore. He's been a gigantic bitch in relation to how he's handled immigration thus far.
Centrist Don is pretty fucking lame if you ask me.
Its beautiful. Giving these guys exactly what they want and they still whine and cry. What a fake and empty group.

Unless the American people give Republicans a supermajority in Congress, Republicans are forced to compromise with Democrats. Do you suspect America will do that during mid-term elections?
You don't need a supermajority to pass e-verify.
You only need a supermajority for funding.
Like funding a wall?
Yes, which won't fix shit. If increased border security spending solved the problem, the Reagan's amnesty would have worked. It didn't. 20 million illegals later, and here we are again.
So, he needs a supermajority in order to get the funding he wanted for border security, which is forcing Republicans to negotiate on DACA in return for border security. It's really shitty that we have so many Americans putting politicians in office who will sacrifice border security to import voters.
But that doesn't address why he can't pass e-verify, which will actually solve the problem, as opposed to building a wall, which solves border jumpers, but not the other half of illegal immigration, which is overstayed visas.
It is a con job.
You don't need a wall to fix this. Not only that, but a wall won't fix it.
The funding he is requesting for border security goes beyond just a wall. That is irrelevant to the purpose of your original post though.
trump knows better .. he knows this is political suicide and he won't sniff a second term if he signs such a bill .. unless his plan is one term
It is totally relevent, because just like his supporters thought he wouldn't support amnesty, unless illegal immigration had already been stopped, they also believe a wall will actually keep Mexicans out.
You are selling amnesty for a box of money. Not just amnesty, but citizenship. Not for a completed wall, but for a box of money.
Trump supporters should feel more betrayed then I did, when Obama let the fucking banksters off the hook.
Nope. He is attempting to trade the amnesty of "dreamers" without (otherwise) criminal records for securing the border by means that include (but are not limited to) a barrier. It's called a compromise. Something Republicans are being forced into because there are so many screwed up people in this country that put lunatic Democrats in office.
