But seriously, amnesty is a win-win because you have to apply for it and there are conditions, it's not just a give away. You can't have a criminal record, you have to pay a bunch of fines, you have to have lived in the US for a while, etc.

So you get:

-Non criminals

-A fuckton of money in return to partly make up for the income taxes they haven't paid (the ones that haven't paid)

-New income tax payers

Yeah, they're still nonwhite and speak accented English, but for the few that are truly only interested in the non-racial part of it (yeah, all 5 of them), it's a net positive.
