Huh? Bro Alex is a cool fighter and it's a fighter forum but I could give zero shits if he wins or loses. I care about the people I train with or train and nobody else's results. And I guess my own. And my kids. Cry more about my gamertag on Sherdog, but maybe spend more time on the mats or at least educating yourself on what you're looking at. I genuinely don’t understand this man’s weight. Every time he just looks like he’s maybe put on 15lbs.

He was always kinda manufactured. The few times he’s been on the ground on his back, he looked like he was at the gynecologist. People like gimmicky powerful fighters though, and he was definitely given favorable matchups to build his brand. It’s more people that knew that being able to talk some shit and his superfans not having much to say back.

It is what it is. He’s still a badass, but you could see what was going on if you paid attention.

Knocking out 4 former champs in like a year, winning two belts and he’s manufactured? You just proved my point.

No, he wasn’t given favorable matchups. He beat everybody who was in front of him but then loses once (he wasn’t taken down once btw) and suddenly he sucks. That’s just retarded tbh. What he did is legendary and incredible. Even if he never wins another fight, he is one of the best ever and anyone shitting on him is crazy.

All those former champs were either told not to take him down or just didn’t do it. The guy clearly cannot grapple, but is a fantastic kickboxer. I never said he sucks, but the company was without star power conveniently right when Alex became the man. It’s a business, and I love to be entertained as much as anyone, but yeah… the guy’s ears are untouched… and they’re huge. Clearly not an experienced ground fighter.
 
He should give HW a shot.

Tough matches, but a chance to be the first ever to win belts in 3 weight classes is huge.

Then retire if he gets one.

Tell me, what more do you want in a fighter? He’s insanely active, likeable, exciting and has an incredible highlight reel. I have no idea why you haters are desperate enough to even invent insane conspiracy theories to bash him but ok. Whatever dude.

Thats not true and there is also more to the whole story.

2023-2024 Poatan was loved by like 95% of Sherdog and hated by 5%. Especially when he beat Izzy all of SD loved him.

2024-2025 Poatan was loved by like 70% of Sherdog and the 25%, who loved him started to hate him as soon as Ank got in TS reach and therefore joined the hate-boat with the old % who never liked him. The 25% is the bathtub-brigade which will jump wagons as fast as a whore will change lovers because they just have to support their own guys, no matter who the opponent is.

This happened also with Merab and Ilia. 95% of the Bathtubbers loved them before and then started hating on them once Merab fought Umor and once Ilia wanted to fight Islame.
