Alex Pereira still has a chance to become the #1 MMA GOAT, despite losses

He should just run into the cage during a LW title fight and KO both manlets, grab the belt, and run away while yelling "CHAMAAAA!"
I like it! Maybe have him carrying a leaf blower

I'd rather see him take a HW fight now. If he can demolish Anklaev like that, the biggest Dagestani champion we've seen, I know the style is very different but I see him doing the same thing to Borz. That's a red panty night for both guys, not a competitive fight. Let's get Alex in there vs. someone bigger than him.

All he needs to do is KO Jon and Tom(or whoever is HW Champ) and he'll be considered the GOAT universally.

Beat the GOAT Jones, then become the first and only 3-Division UFC champion.

Its a tall task but Chama does Chama shit

if he ko john his resume better than jon. i don't see him winning that fight

Strict conditions:
- knock out Ulberg, to formally clean out the 205 division
- knock out Khamzat at 205 (Khamzat wants to move up and superfight Alex)
- somehow moves down to 185 again (LOL) and knocks out Khamzat again
- moves up to HW and knocks out Tom, becoming the first and only 3 weight division ufc champ ever
- knocks out Jones, defeating the greatest mma fighter ever
- bonus: goes back in time to knock out fedor, because fuck it

After this, there would be no challenge left for him.
Unless Ngannou is still around, but Ngannou is basically retired in MMA.
- bonus: goes back in time to knock out fedor, because fuck it

--------------------------------

If these insanely difficult conditions are met, then he would be the best fighter ever, no questions asked.

- better than Fedor (Fedor had 2000s dominance but his average opponent was weaker than Jones/Tom/Khamzat)
- better than Jones (KO him)
- better than GSP (3 division > 2 division. GSP avenged both Matt Hamill and Matt Serra losses, but Alex also avenged Izzy and Magomed losses)
- better than Anderson Silva (Silva could still have better striking than Alex, but would not be a better overall mma fighter if Alex fulfills those conditions)
- better than Demetrious (lost to Cejudo.. but in all seriousness, Demetrious tried to win the belt at 135 but never succeeded)
- better than Khabib (29-0 is hard, but it's easier to stay undefeated if you don't take risks and become 3 division champ. imagine if khabib fought at 145 and 170, he would definitely get losses)

We give too much credit to this double champion bullshit. The dudes fighting today have mastered water cutting. Bas Rutten fought at HW in the UFC and today he could have cut to MW.

Frankie Edgar spent most of his career at LW being undersized AT THE TIME. Put Shogun next to Jiri or Alex and he looks like a fucking Welterweight.

Alot of these guys could have been double champs but the structure of the sport was different

i don't think it's physically possible
pereira has long limbs, which is not ideal for wrestling
also impossible for jones?
also impossible for dc because hes short ?

any othet excuses to make him look good?
like he got ko'd by pereira because hes only 20, percent at that time and lost to ank because hes 40 percent

there's a difference between jones (national junior college level wrestling good enough for mma),
and dagestanis at world/olympic champion level like sadulaev, saitiev

khamzat's wrestling is way better than jones

long limbs are not an advantage at elite level wrestling,
so pereira it's not physically possible to win over people like khamzat in wrestling
so why did jones outwrestled olympic level dc?
jones has longer limbs than pereira

pereira should be atleast jones level grappler right even higher because he has shorter limbs
what kind of reasoning is this

thats what separates the great from the meh

🤣🤡

And after all that, Dana and Jones fans will still say Jones is the goat

I think he'a a great champ. He seems like a cool dude and sleeps fools. He's also taking the first "M" Out of MMA and would ger crushed by many of the grapplers that the UFC has released, let go ro other orgs. or never replaced after retirement. Guys like Bader, Davis, Anderson, and Jones would put Pieriera on his ass and it would be over. The UFC kickboxing association won't let guys like Randy Couture, Cormier or Dan Henderson get to the top these days.
