That wasn't as bad as bisping and company made it seem. He was I would say 1, 2 shots late tops, which is like 2 seconds. You'd be all over him if he dropped green, flattened him on his back, landed three or four blocked punches and called it too. Refs can't win.

That was not intelligent defense by Bobby. That was tap-out via posture.

No, it wasn't.

He was flattened out and couldn't regain his hips because Turner was doing all the right things with his top pressure and position.

If Green wanted out he wouldn't have been blocking shots.

What would have been intelligent defense to you? Just get up? haha.

Facing his opponent instead of going belly down with his gloves as earmuffs.

So, just ignore being flattened out from his opponent's hip pressure and correct position, and just turn around, all while getting punched?

Well, If you've never trained any grappling or MMA ground striking defense before I can see how that might seem really easy to you haha.

Bobby was flattened on his side. He could have faced(intelligent defense) or he could have turned belly down to a defenseless position. Which is submission by posture.

So he should have just turned right into the punches after he'd immediately been dropped and gotten KOd right away instead of rolling over to his back where he tried to block the sides of his head while making the front of his head an unreachable target?

lol.

It actually wasn’t that bad, he was moving and trying to cover his head until the last 2 punches. People forget but Refs used to let shit like that go 5-10 years ago. It’s really only the last 5 years fighters aren’t given a chance to recover.

Would i have stopped it sooner? Yeah, but that wasn’t Mir Carwin.

It's the stoppage I've been asking for the whole time. I hate those lame TKOs where a fighter gets a little rocked and the ref stops in. Nope - a fight should only be stopped once a fighter is out cold or at the very least sprawled out on the ground with no movement for some time. We clearly got both, so excellent work, ref!

Can actually agree with you.

For example, I wanted Alex to beat Jiri, but I thought the fight was stopped short.
(98% Alex would have won, but not 100%)

In this fight, we all know Bobby is a proven quitter, but he "was still moving."
Ref continued to watch the brutality, with "bobby moving," until Bobby "went limp."

There can be ZERO argument that Bobby was done.

In the Pereira fight, there may be 5-10% who think it should have gone on ...
