2014-2015 Green Bay Packers: Our Raahgaahs, Who Art In Green Bay

The NE game will really tell us about this team. Last tough game of the season, and at home. We should beat them

I also really like how we get a bye right after we play the Canthers at home, and then the Saints in NO. Two hard games, followed by a week to rest up, and then play Chicango at home. Great placement

Your coach: Mike "The Beav" McCarthy, still reeling from those bad reviews he got for his lead role in Tammy. Anyway, the Beav's main job is to stand there while Aaron Rodgers does everything, and to let Dom Capers call 500 ill-advised blitzes per game. Dom Capers is the guy who thinks it's a brilliant idea to run the PUNT BLOCK as a defense in Madden.

Your backup quarterback is Matt Flynn, who scans the field for Jordy Nelson like a man who can't find his car in a parking lot.

What has always sucked: Kuhn. Fucking Kuhn. He's still there! What, did they give him a lifetime contract or something? Can't he die? At least Wes Welker is a productive whiteboy favorite. But the fucking Kuhn lumbers for a two-yard gain the stadium erupts as if locals have just been told that one Latino family has decided to move out of town. Meanwhile, Eddie Lacy is right there! Chant EDDIE, man.

lol'd at these

Also, the Packers just lost BJ Raji for the entire season thanks to a torn bicep (Note to self: tear Aaron Rodgers' bicep). Clay Matthews says tearing your guns is the greatest tragedy of all.

Thank God Packers stock doesn't give our fans any actual say in decision making, or else Eddie Lacy would be someplace else and the headline in Green Bay would read "Highest paid NFL RB Steven Jackson says he's still got something left in the tank"

The best two signings for the Packers' defense since 1994 are Jay Cutler's two contracts with the Bears.

Mark "let's get the daughters into the hot tub!" Chmura still has a radio show on the local sports talk channel. He is also the best current option at tight end over Andrew Quarless and Brandon fucking Bostick.

ahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yeah Raji was a useless fuck last season

And it showed on our defense. In regards to first and second down especially, the NT is arguably the most important position on a 34 defense. If the Nose excels, the defense usually follows.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't really disappointed to hear Raji was out. We are already so think in the middle of the defense.

Holy shit, the Flynn one

Also, I hope The Beav catches on.

And speaking of the punt block Madden comment, who remembers that dildo Bob Slowick?

I hate Raji like I hate Jermican Finley

which means I hate them because they're awful 99% of the time, yet will show flashes of brilliance every so often which makes me think ohh maybe they aren't worthless fucks

but nah, they're worthless fucks

I remember Slowik but Bob Sanders was the fucking worst DC

lol Im not gonna lie I was disappointed they didnt sign SJax. But then I said they needed to draft a RB high and they did.

I always get Sanders and Bates confused in my mind, which is not good because Bates was actually a very impressive DC before he left.

I was not in favor of signing Jackson. Living in STL, I've seen waaaay too much mileage put on those tires.

Man I just watched this video

So good. Al Harris was so based. Lol at the one explosive GB fan with a grill

Hah I was so pissed we didn't pick up Marshawn

and then I was so pissed we didn't pick up the corpse of SJax

Shows how desperate we were for a rb at the time

Javon walker is now an amateur body builder. This chick I know competed on the same card as him in Lake Tahoe.
Different divisions(duh) she placed second;
he didn't place.

What do you think about Josh Boyd? Hes the one guy on the line that I dont know a lot about. Havent seen much of him, he didnt play a lot last year but he replaced Raji when he got hurt last week. Can he play NT at a passable level? Guion is practicing now too, hes supposed to be a run stopper but idk

I loved Harris and Woodson together, they played so physical. This would probably be a penalty now.

I just got home and watched the GB-KC, and fuuuuuuuck those Tolzien passes looked GOOD

After viewing tonights game I took a stab at the 53 man roster. I

Didn't seen the game tonight, but Ryan Taylor won't make it. I dunno off the top of my head who will make it in place of him, but I'm 99.99% sure they'll roll with DickRod/Bostick/Quarless at TE. Won't go with more than 3, and those 3 have got it locked up

I picked Taylor over Stoneburner because hes good on special teams. If youre the 4th TE you better be good at that shit. But I dont care who does either way. Bostick is hurt and will miss a couple weeks so theyre gonna keep 4 for now at least.

From the team site, the official 53 man roster

Quarterbacks (3) -- Aaron Rodgers, Matt Flynn, Scott Tolzien

Running backs (4) -- Eddie Lacy, James Starks, DuJuan Harris, John Kuhn

Wide receivers (5) -- Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Jarrett Boykin, Davante Adams, Jeff Janis

Tight ends (4) -- Andrew Quarless, Brandon Bostick, Richard Rodgers, Ryan Taylor

Offensive linemen (8) -- David Bakhtiari, Bryan Bulaga, Josh Sitton, T.J. Lang, Corey Linsley, JC Tretter, Derek Sherrod, Lane Taylor

Defensive linemen (5) -- Mike Daniels, Datone Jones, Letroy Guion, Josh Boyd, Mike Pennel

Linebackers (11) -- Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers, A.J. Hawk, Brad Jones, Nick Perry, Mike Neal, Jamari Lattimore, Sam Barrington, Andy Mulumba, Jayrone Elliott, Carl Bradford

Cornerbacks (6) -- Tramon Williams, Sam Shields, Casey Hayward, Davon House, Jarrett Bush, Demetri Goodson

Safeties (4) -- Morgan Burnett, Micah Hyde, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Sean Richardson

Specialists (3) -- Mason Crosby, Tim Masthay, Brett Goode

Some items to note:

-The Packers will enter Week 1 with three QBs on the roster for the first time since 2008, when both Brian Brohm and Matt Flynn were drafted to back up Aaron Rodgers.

-Julius Peppers and Mike Neal are officially listed on the roster with a dual position (LB/DE) but are listed here with the linebackers.

-Two undrafted rookies made the team: LB Jayrone Elliott, who recorded five sacks in the preseason, and DL Mike Pennel.

-Of the Packers' nine 2014 draft choices, seven made the roster while the other two -- WR Jared Abbrederis and DL Khyri Thornton -- are on injured reserve.

-Four players who ended last season on the 53-man roster are no longer on it. LB Nate Palmer and TE Jake Stoneburner were placed on IR, while S Chris Banjo and CB Jumal Rolle were released. Also, WR Myles White, who played in seven games for the Packers in 2013 but ended the season on IR, was released.

-The practice squad has been increased in size from eight to 10 players. Teams can begin signing players to their practice squads on Sunday afternoon, after the waiver claim period has expired.

Hah Jayrone Elliot made the team, what a baller. The Sackmaster played his way onto the team

Your mileage may vary!
