Marx worked as a journalist and author, and seems to have worked quite hard, as his output was prolific.
Idk where the idea that he couldn't tell the difference between a large landowner and a peasant farmer comes from.
Seeing as he was a Communist in the 19th century, he wasn't aiming to become the JK Rowling of his time, and had a lot of trouble with censorship and persecution, which limited his financial opportunities.
In numerous letters to Friedrich Engels, Karl Marx frequently requested financial assistance, often detailing his dire financial situation, including struggles to pay bills and feed his family, due to his dedication to writing and political activism which did not provide a consistent income; Engels, who had a more secure financial standing from his family business, regularly provided Marx with financial support throughout their lives.
Key points about Marx's letters asking Engels for money:
Financial hardship:
Marx often described his family facing significant financial difficulties, including debt collectors knocking on his door and being forced to pawn items.
Justification for need:
He would explain how his time was fully dedicated to research and writing for the revolutionary movement, leaving little room for paid work.
Appreciation for Engels' support:
While requesting money, Marx often expressed gratitude for Engels' ongoing financial assistance and their shared revolutionary goals.
That's just Engels, he took money from everyone he could and these weren't small sums of money for the time and he would waste it.
He was a person that begged for money...... Because he wouldn't get a job that would support his own family..... That's definitely not a person I'd take any teaching from, he can't even get the basics right.
He wasn't really a journalist was he, he certainly didn't contribute very much in that regard.
He wasn't part of the working class, him and his wife had a maid, which he probably got pregnant and he made her sleep in the bed with them...... He blamed the child on Engels and asked him to take the blame...
Marx saw the workers on the farm and not the farm owner as the owners of their own production, it's irrelevant if that was a giant land owner or a tiny family farm..... Could you imagine what would happen when your 15 year old son wakes up and says I plowed half the field I own half the production of that field.
It's amazing that anyone would consider his blabbering and his juggling to avoid accountability as any form of intellectual contribution, all his endeavours are to basically avoid getting a real job and support his family..... I've met a few Marx types in my time, they usually live on benefits in the UK and talk a lot in the pub about solving the worlds problems.
Marx hated everything that was him, because he had failed at being a successful part of that very part of society that he wished to destroy.
Marx was a failed Bourgeoisie....... He hated the Bourgeoisie....
Marx failed at being a provider to his family, he hated the nuclear family.
Are you seeing a pattern yet......
