Between this, changing his appearance all the time, stalking other wrestlers backstage, and promos, this guy has been one of the more entertaining wrestlers recently for me. He just needs to make it land in the ring, as his matches don’t seem to get much reaction. Triple H is clearly behind him, so hopefully this can help propel him into a bigger run. This was a good shoot though, and the managers reaction made it even better.

Its an upwards trend over the last year, but anywhere remotely close to that consistently would be fantastic.

So I don't follow wrestling religiously, so can someone explain something to me?

Dom Mysterio doesn't seem to wrestle very well, his personality is cheesey and lame and his character sucks.

Why is he so over with the crowd?

A bunch of reasons:
Inspirational- Succeeding despite limitations
Aspirational- Bottoming for Rhea and then Liv
Relatable- Dork ass who can't measure up to his dad

Just like a goofy ass white dude who thought he was a rapper (not Too Cool but they fit here too) and a bunch of black dudes who were so corny about being positive that they came off as nerds to the nerdy, if you give the people what they want, they'll give you what you want... which is money. It's always money.

to be fair, not everyone can easily get that many youtube following, it's easier than becoming a wrestling superstar. But have to give props to Paul for actually training...they're not just going to throw him in there with zero training.

and since WWE is starting to get away from the PG era, they need to find a way get new viewers...and what better way than one of the biggest youtube names? It's not ideal, but it is what it is.

I can understand why they use him and why wrestlers don't like it. I also don't care either way.

Really enjoyed the Women's Championship triple threat match. I was planning on fast forwarding certain parts of the match but the match was so fast-paced and entertaining that I ended up watching the whole thing. This was my favorite match of the entire Night 2.

And another thing after how this went down, why were The Rock and Travis Scott even needed at all for Cena to win 17? Rock not bothering to show up once after EC, Scott not until tonight, why bother. Cena could have turned heel on his own, have Cody come out to congratulate him after winning the EC, then same thing happens. Would've made more sense, then Cena (who hates The Rock) to suddenly fall in line without a word of explanation for almost 2 months.

My guess is the rock ruined everything lol. But you are absolutely right.

One thing for sure, our lord and savior Vince would've never make some random rapper come out in the main event of Wrestlemania.

New era is boring ass event and one big moment every 2-3 months, nothing happened in road to Wrestlemania after Cena's heel turn and they thought Travis coming out would've make it huge lmaoooo

You'd have been even more confused watching night 1 with the likes of Jey Uso and Jade Cargill.

I didn't watch night 1. But I did watch the uso's live in attendance at the ppv in Vancouver this year. They are terrible wrestlers.

Rock's was doing damage control on Pat Pat Mcafee's show today. Coachman had a good take on it, dragging Dwayne over the coals.




Rock saying he wanted the spotlight off of him sounds like BS. As coachman said, not being at mania after the EC thing, the spotlight was going to be on him even more. He had to know that, sounds like friction behind the scenes. He had to burry the roster for EC too, his ego is unmatched lol

They can follow up on the Soul thing at any time, but if you're going to bring Travis Scott out, the Rock has to be there too, or it's going to be a giant distraction. These guys aren't idiots, they had to know fans weren't going to like it. I'm all for pissing off fans to tell a better story, but what they told at mania with Cena was trash. Even worse, the lasting images of Cena's historic recording breaking win will include an outside celeb no one gives a shit about. Mike Tyson with Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold was iconic, this was the Temu version.
