Well one of the girls just got pregnant with her then serious boyfriend. the other one was actually married. Several years after the marriage he started getting physically abusive and cheating on her. Well I wouldn't argue that the court system is unfair to men. Or that many women are vindictive cunts. But you said yourself sometimes all they did was pick the wrong person. I've known single moms that were with guys they didn't know were cheating, or ended up being abusive. So they left and the guy gave zero fucks about the kid.

Funny, i consider myself old school in that nearing my 40s I've seen and experienced more failures of blood relationships than I care to recount.

Yeah it's a totally different mindset than my own, but it's good to talk with people like that. It makes you think, although nobody is changing anyone's mind on a deeply held belief.
