Would you ever raise another man's child?

"One in 25 fathers may not be the biological parent of the child they believe to be theirs, according to a study published today.

Its authors say governments and society have not woken up to how DNA testing and genetic profiling are lifting the lid on a "Pandora's box" of hidden sexual behaviour or how the results might affect individuals, family relationships or public health."

You can beat a lie-detector test but you can't fake the funk on DNA.

Probably not.

Too me relationships are about a 50/50 compromise and putting equal effort for each person.

If she has a kid and I don't, then her responsibilities will be much less flexible than mine. There are just a lot of responsibilities in raising a child and it takes a lot of time and money.
So when it comes down to it, 95+% of compromises and effort will be made Specifically towards the mother and her child.
And at that point you're not in a relationship, you're an unpaid assistant, whose whole purpose in life is to make her life easier, while at best getting a tiny fraction of a woman's time, effort and emotions as someone who isn't dating a single mother.

@Kardashians for female opinion please.

In all honesty I would never raise another dude's kid. To me, it's all about blood. I would raise my brother's kids if he and spouse were to die, because there's genetic connection there. Outside of a scenario like that, I don't think I would. I'm a savage old school type. If it ain't my uce I ain't playing.

It makes a man look bad if he raises another man's kid.

I think guys need to develop a back bone. There is a lack of it these days. I wouldn't entertain the idea of mothering a child not my own though, some women like the idea and I know quite a few who have. I suspect it is there way of getting further invested into the relationship before seeking out their own child. More conservative women are coming around and standing out. Children are expensive. Like, a woman would see her man's resources parting ways from there children. College is not cheap. I would be more concern that, if there was a child involved, a significant portion of his money would be tied up to the woman from his past.

If you are the one raising the child, then the sperm donor has as much right to call that child his as he has to call himself a man.

"Blood matters"? fuck that. Loyalty and love matter..

What is love?

I don't see the big deal so long as you're not opposed to raising children in general. If you love somebody and they have a child already, why couldn't you help raise that child? What would be so bad about that. You'd still be raising a little you as you taught the child values and behaviours and such.

Naw it's a little somebody else. This is just the women's fake public opinion to keep the "we can do whatever we want and still have respect" wave going in the West. Women, including this one, don't really believe what they say.

That said, I probably would, because I like kids in general. I would be more inclined to if I started making babies with said woman myself. If she had one, and then we had two, it would be a valuable sibling and I would want the child to grow healthy and successful.

We can't let women have too much leeway here, however. If they go down to the ghetto to make a baby with ghetto genes, sometimes they have to stay. They want the best of both worlds in all situations and honestly think we're stupid as hell for letting them get away with it. They think we don't get it, when they are the ones who don't get it.

I have 5 kids proven as my own. I may have a 6th being raised by somebody else. I hope it's his. My willingness to.raise somebody else's kid now may stem from already having a good amount of kids of my own. If I was my age without kids, I would want my own and wouldn't be looking to raise others, tbh.

If raising the kid means filling up the fridge with food and only opening up when I'm half drunk then of course I'll take a stab at being a Dad. People generally like being around me and I aim to please women in many ways. If I can put a smile on some dumb c*nts face by showing a kid how to fold paper into semi air worthy pieces of soon to be recycled material then so be it. God forbid the kid ends up being someone cool to spend time with because of my efforts. I'd have a son/daughter and a friend. This of course all being dependent on finding a woman with children who can stomach me and my post count.

If I'm in a real relationship with a mother with a young child who has no relationship with the biological Father..I may take it upon myself to be a father figure and raise them. It depends on the relationship. Say I father the child half brother or sister then that would further my initiative to support the child.

If it's a child who's father is in the picture in any way, then I wouldn't feel it's my duty or my right to raise them

If everyone is better off, of course.

If it's a woman who makes me happy, I make her happy, and together we give the kid the best chance at life, why wouldn't I? The fear of not being macho enough for the internet? Not a big concern.

i fucked a girl w/a kid before a few times. that's about it. dating? fuck no. marry? fuck fuck no. hit it and quit it and let the beta assed losers be the dad.

Of course I would.
The kid didn't have a choice in the matter, and well - this is an ADULT BASED phobia/hang up.

You don't burden children with adult situations.

But with that said, it will never be the same.
The same applies to their kids (your grandkids) - you will always have that 'step-grandkid' feeling deeply rooted.

My buddy is on his second marriage. The guy is a Green Beret, so anyone that wants to call him a "beta" can suck a dick. He has custody of his kids because his first wife is a terrible person and no longer in the picture at all. His second wife has kids from her first marriage. Her first husband was also a Green Beret, and he passed away from what I think was cancer in the late-90's. When my buddy and his second wife got married, they adopted one another's kids as a means of blending their lives. So my buddy is raising another man's kids. Does that make him a cuck?
military dudes usually don't have much standards for women. sad truth.

If I met a women who already had kids and I wanted her as my property then yes I'll take the kids as well. If my wife got knocked up by someone else, nope. I'd be gone.

My answer would have been no, but strangely around the time I watched too much BBC cuck porn, I started to see things differently

But otherwise, I've taken care of other people's kids FAR more than I ever expected as it is. Fuck dat. Working with Severely Emotionally Disturbed youth, as a person who already didn't want kids strangely just made it even more of a "No" to have kids. If you don't want kids of your own, there's nothing worse thsn other people's kids.

Just get a fidget spinner hang out at the pet shop to feed the guinea pigs corn. Emotional attachments are overrated, anyway.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it but I personally wouldn't date a girl who already has kids, for me it's too much to take on I wouldn't want to go from Single to having a family just like that.
