Besides Reddit being one of the biggest sites, I do think the fact that everything is sorted by votes automatically makes the forum quality seem a lot higher than Sherdog where you have to wade through a lot of crap to find the nuggets.

On reddit you can post a thread and the first comments you see (as sorted by votes) will actually be funny, interesting, relevant or make sense.
Can't do that on sherdog.

Are you high sir? The top comments on Reddit are usually some joke that has been beaten to death, resurrected and beaten to death again. Most of the "intelligent" comments are some guy talking out of his ass, while being completely wrong. Your average redditor thinks that writing in paragraphs means that they are an expert so they upvote. Usually if you have a decent amount of knowledge about a subject you realize how wrong these clowns are. It's basically the Gellman Amnesia effect.

Iv been on here since 07. I remember that thread with Starnes was pretty brutal. Also i think he was high on painkillers when he was posting. Rothwell used to post on here alot especially leading up to the Arlovski fight not so much after. Same with Baroni, Tank and a couple of other braddahs. Tracy Lee used to post on here alot. I come and go sometimes wont log in for years. Iv kinda bored recently had a little downtime and been reading up on different orgs. So ill visit sherdog. Alot of times i just post in OT to joke around. Dont really bother with some of the ignorant people on here that dont bother me. Im 50 now and been around a while. Dealt with alot of pilau people in my life so the nonsense on here doesnt bother me non. I do enjoy talking to MMA fans or fight fans in general because ultimately thats what I am. I appreciatte being able to share some of my knowledge and experiences too. Post a old school pic from time to time.
