Ilia Topuria - Was 2-0 knocking out two of the bantamweight greats in Volkanovski and Holloway.
Alex Pereira - Was 3-0 KO/TKO Hill, Procházka and Rountree. Jr.

Feel free to suggest names and I'll consider adding them.

No you gotta be more reasonable than that. Things to consider

- Volk was coming off a KO loss.
- Max has already lost 3 title fights at FW
- Jiri and Hill were Lineal champions, Jiri's first and Second loss are to Alex, Jiri did Rebound with a win over Rakic, A legit contender win.
- fighting 3 times vs fighting 2 times
- All of alexs fights were exciting and they all were finishes, same with Illa but alex had more

I dont think I've personally EVER considered a fighter with only 2 wins fighter of the year. That's how good Illas run is.

This is a coin-toss popularity contest. I give it to Alex simply for bailing the UFC out on short notice in marquee events. Ilia's wins were impressive, but when it comes to champs stepping up Alex showed who's the real boss.

Using Khalil's ranking as a means to discredit Alex's performances or take away from his achievements is stupid. Once the octagon door closed, Khalil made it a fight, and I thought it was a good one.

I know people here like to talk mostly about champions, so it is Alex for me.
But if allowed, I’d mention Buckley for going 4-0 in 2024. We need more fighters with that kind of activity.
Buckley is a fine nod and should be part of the poll. 3 TKO's and a decision is a damn fine year. He won't win, but deserves to be recognized for it.

A humble ass kicker with a great smile who fights 6 times a year?

Cmon it’s not even close.
