Who Would You Favor If Dricus and Khamzat Fought?

Id favor DDP for sure. I don't think Khamzat will be able to control that tank of a MW and Khamzats striking has made zero improvements. The DDP that beat Whitakker whoops Khamzat
 
Look at DDPs career defensive wrestling results and then look at Usmans. Khamzat is taking down and ending DDP.

but DDP ain’t getting a title shot anytime soon. Izzy should have fought him but that quick turn around didn’t work for DDP back then unfortunately. I feel the guy is now left behind in ufc plans
 
DDP has been taken down by several people but he's gritty - fights out, keeps a high pace, hits like a truck and eventually overwhelms his opponents. I'd definitely take him in a 5 rounder. Probably Chimaev if it's 3.
 
No one is going to be a betting favorite over Khamzat at MW and I don't think anyone would be close odds-wise either.

Well I realized after this fight Khamzat is not as big as I thought he'd be at middleweight, even if we've seen him before at the weight. He's just naturally a slim guy. Rehydrated Dricus, Costa etc look a weight class above.

Still he'll beat Strickland imo, but then want to see him fight DDP and other top 10 guys.
 
if you're MW fighter, you got to be thinking, all you need to do is survive the first round. train sub defense like crazy, takedown as much as possible, but conceded that the takedown will just happen in the first. work sub defense with craig jones. and then be ready for that second round dump, be ready to pour it on, bully him, etc. kamzhat is very hittable. a proper MW will land flush.

He beat Brunson who was top 5 and the best wrestler at MW, beat Till who's one of the best strikers(his fight with Whittaker was very close) then fought Whittaker and beat him up everywhere the fight went. What more do you need to see to be convinced? Does he have to KO someone with the diamond cutter?
 
It's funny because everyone is basically overlooking Strickland as champ and the real #1 at MW is DDP vs Khamzat. Strickland is just formality. I personally think Khamzat is more intriguing than DDP and has potential to be the more dominant champion between the 2.

He didn't even get hurt a little bit by Usman and went into the pocket exchanging with him
