Who should Usyk fight next?🤔

So let's revisit this for a second. Joshua gets dropped and is visibly hurt. He beat the count but still looked pretty unsteady on his feet afterwards. Notice he's not really even throwing any punches back. A telltale sign that he was still hurt. He hadn't yet shaken off the cobwebs.

Joshua was compromised and there for the taking. Wlad shouldn't have let him off the hook. That was a hard lesson learned.

I don't dispute that. But it wasn't trivial. He was slippery
He still had his reactions but wasn't firing back. Wlad telegraphs his left hook every time he throws it. Meaning it was easy for Joshua to read and duck/roll underneath it. He'd been doing that the whole fight. What Wlad needed to do was get another solid straight right hand in there. Wlad's head trainer Jonathan Banks was yelling for him to finish but instead he listened to Vitali. He was too content to let Joshua ride out the rest of the round. Eventually Joshua fully recovered and it cost him the fight.

You're better off putting him on your ignore list. Check his posts in the standup technique forum, he doesn't know anything about combat sports and refuses to learn, just stubbornly sticks to his delusions. Some folks just aren't worth the effort imo

I agree. I said Wlad is a terrible finisher

I have said repeatedly that I have trained in a gym, you have repeatedly ignored that.

Oh, I'm familiar with him. Ignoring him will only work for so long until he creates another account like the one he's on now.

Jai, I,don’t care about the dubuois fight. Low blow controversy aside, Daniel got his ass stopped. I don’t want to waste time in the career of one of the greatest ever in a useless fight.

Would it be possible for Fury to lobby for a third fight?
Of course it's possible but he's 0-2 against Usyk so a trilogy isn't necessary. I also don't see any demand for a third fight. Usyk only has one or two fights left in his career. It's not going to be Fury again.

He won the first fight by a round. Second fight was quite tame.

He won both fights pretty clearly. Realistically the ref saved Fury from being KO'd in the first fight. A trilogy would be pointless and last I checked Fury was "retired" again.

Usyk was doing so poorly at one point in the first fight that I thought Fury would coast to victory.

Until he made adjustments and stopped getting nailed by Fury's uppercuts. Once that happened he smashed his nose in and then caught him with that big counter in round 9. Usyk always does better down the stretch. Part of that is also because his stamina is superior to theirs.

I think Usyk should retire. There's nothing for him to prove anymore. I don't care to see another Dubois fight since he already stopped Dubois. Maybe if Parker beats Dubois there could be a Parker vs Usyk fight. Let Usyk unify again and retire undisputed but I think Dubois beats Parker anyway.

Probably wait a few months and see what the scene looks like.

They are both all time greats fighting in an era with stiffs, and that includes Joshua and Dubios
