This is what i had in mind, RDR going for the activity record and Whittaker cant catch a break after a bad injury, RDR will be a hard one for anyone.Damn Whittaker isn't catching a break, it's an opponent lower ranked but one of the harder fights for him
I'm assuming that Strickland ducked RDR's challenge, and RDR asked the UFC for the highest ranked opponent that would agree to fight him.sounds dumb on paper.
I just think Sean Vs Whittaker makes more sense. Deridders last win was an unranked guy he could fight some one like ikram aliskerov next and it would be totally sensibleI'm assuming that Strickland ducked RDR's challenge, and RDR asked the UFC for the highest ranked opponent that would agree to fight him.
RDR is either going to pop off and go on a crazy championship run like Alex Pereira did, or he's gonna get reality checked and be beaten by top 5 guys. He turns 35 this year so it's now or never. I think he's smart to take the biggest fights he can possibly take before he starts to physically decline.
That would be sensible if Strickland was willing to fight Whittaker. But I don't know if you've noticed, however every single time Whittaker is brought up as an opponent, Strickland says he's not interested. Could be coincidence due to Strickland wanting title shots.I just think Sean Vs Whittaker makes more sense.
