Whiskey, War, Suicide, and Guns

Yes - Cressey's book was pretty bad. I was expecting a lot better from him.

The book contains very little substance either on why you should do X or explanation how to do X. Actually - it has as much substance as a Men Health article on lifting. For example, although EC has several long articles on how to DL, he tells you how to DL in about 30-40 words in his book (he explains a sumo DL in a sentence). He has a "cookie cutter" strength routine, but no information on who the routine would be good for. Is it for a noob? Would it work for an intermediate lifter? He never really explains why he rotates certain exercise either.

Well that sucks. I ordered it a few days ago, mostly based on the man's reputation.

I know this but you really meant it. You are just mad fatty.

*flexes*

Thanks all. I was lonely at the gym all week, so posting my PR's here is all the happiness I get. The other guys have been going up to Detroit Barbell to use the monolift because there is some meet coming up.

6/24/08 - Tuesday - Bullshit Day

Treadmill: 30min 4mph @ 4%

That's it.

So not only do you bench, squat, and dead more than I do but you run better too..........Dick

That's hardly a run, I'm pretty sure if I tried to run for any extended period I would fall over and die. Besides sprints and flag football games I haven't really done any sort of road work for years.
