My upper body was pretty pumped. Press kind of blew. Next week I will just do the prescribed sets/reps and then work up to a little over my openers, and then rest for a week and hit up the meet.

Done pulling until the meet. 551 felt great. Always a little nervous when you don't touch something heavy for awhile, but just like Sheiko this proves to me that the sports training wizards are correct, there is no need to train with maximal weights.
 
Also, we got a high speed treadmill that goes up to 28mph and 20% incline. It has a harness that lifts you up in the air if you stumble or are about to fall. It looks like a ride at Cedar Point.
 
Are you opening with 451/314/551?

What are you thinking on the squat?

451/496/508? or are you going to go in the 480s for the 2nd and then go between 501-518?
 
I was thinking more along the lines of 456/490/507-518 for squat. You are correct about bench and deadlift.

That would be a +5 meet PR on my second attempt. I'll see how it goes Wednesday when I put on the Elite knee sleeves. My main worry is to just run a good meet. I'm not overly concerned with having some epic day. That will come in a few months when I feel I can crack 1500.

490 bench would be pretty good.

I think that is a good plan.

I used the Elite knee sleeves once. You will get a bit out of them, and far more than the Inzer knee sleeves (unless you bought 1 or 2 sizes to small, I guess). It's not as much as a medium wrap, but it's far more than any other knee sleeves.

You only get to use them once, though. They will be good to keep around if you have some knee pain from using the rehbands too much.

You will probably need to bring baby powder to get them on.
 
I think you should go for 500+ and 600+ on your second squat and deadlift attempts.

On the squat, it depends on how much he gets out the knee sleeves. I agree with the pull.

On an unrelated note, I got a 3 month for $75 dollars (College student special) at gym that is also a Crossfit affiliate. The strongman/PL gym has one treadmill and it has never worked since I've been there.

The Crossfiters make me laugh. The douche factor is high, but there are 100% more hot chicks than a my other gym. And it has 24 hour access, a deadlift platform and a texas power bar so if I forced to lift there, I can make the best of it.
