I thought Jim Miller had great insight about eye pokes and how to mitigate it.

Any other solutions?

20% of your purse per eye poke automatically and all of a sudden eye pokes aren't an issue.

No gloves anymore. Sport was never made to have gloves hence no eyepokes for a lot of UFCs. Really hurts the grappling as well

4oz mits not 4oz fingerless gloves. No more eyepokes ........ but would likely lessen the grappling aspect of mma ...... that would be a real shame

I do wonder about gloves that would hold the fingers together and cover the tips as one unit. You could still grab but the four fingers would stay together like in a boxing glove
