I don't think he's a bum, but I agree that the fight doesn't make sense.

I'd much rather see Ilia vs Arman and BSD vs Charles, where he's obviously outskilled, but has a chance due to age/chin advantage.

Yeah. I think BSD would gladly grapple with him, too, and probably be the better wrestler and get on top. It would be good sloppy fun, but good experience time for both guys. As much as I like bsd, I'm in no rush to see against the absolute elite just yet.

What makes Arman's victories so incredible? He had to take off his shorts to make a very close decision against Oliveira, and aside from that, he and BSD have similar wins. Arman isn't even capable of finishing Frevola.

I also think BSD would benefit from a few more fights and development before facing the very top of the division.

Yeah, I just think BSD is more likely to be the one on top. He's been taking down pretty much everyone where as paddy is like 2/19 on takedowns in his whole ufc career. I'd actually be interested to see some prolonged striking from both of them, because that's where they both need more experience, so they may as well get it from eachother rather than having to strike with hammers again.

Gaethje vs. Bsd would probably be over within 7 minutes lol. Scary fight for both guys.
