Technically speaking, "3 in the top 15" is how one would have to say it, as opposed to "3 ranked wins," which some have been claiming, because typically, an unranked win that later becomes ranked isn't called a ranked win, and Ruffy only became ranked after Islam and Alvarez moved up to WW

Still think Arman shouldn't need more hips to jump through. Arman is on a 5 fight win streak, and not even counting the ranked wins he's had that fell out of the current rankings, his 3 wins still in the top 15 compared to BSD's, is that instead of 14, 11, and 6, it's 11, 6, and 3. It's similar, but still well ahead

Tsarukyan vs Oliveira was very close, but the Arman won so sis the judges, when Arman defeated Dariush, Dariush was still essentially in the contention for the title, not taking anything away from St Denis win over Dariush, but different points in their careers.

St Denis doesn’t deserve it imo, if Holloway wins vs Oliveira than Holloway/Arman for the next shot(although Arman imo deserves it already)

I think the two losses are still pretty recent to keep him out of the top bubble, and out of reach for Justin, or the BMF winner, like you said.

But I disagree with the other options. With BSD getting to at least #6 after this, if he fights Paddy or Arman, that's a pretty high turnaround fight for Paddy, or a pretty continued punishment for Arman

That leaves one choice, imo, the BMF title  loser. I think that's a high enough profile fight, while still not being a full momentum gaining fight would probably put him in range for just one more good win

I think it's clearly Arman. They have the same last win. Who would you have arman fight? BMF winner? There is already an interim champ so he's not getting the next title shot. How long would you have him sit out for?

Last win BS is such a pet peeve of mine. It feels so purposefully reductive. Arman went backwards to fight Hooker. Hooker being his last win doesn't undo that Arman proved himself the 2nd best LW beating Charles. If it did, no fighter should ever be incentivized to fight backwards, because it erases their previous one.

Interims can and have been defended and do we know where Ilia's at yet? If he's still out, then Justin vs Arman is on the table. If they do Ilia vs Justin and Ilia wins, would Charles beating Max really put us back to Ilia-Charles 2?

This REEKS of "GSP vs Dana" all over again. I would suggest the UFC's just throwing out names to Arman counting on him refusing them.

So Arman does other things, like RAF. Now... I have to seek other avenues to watch a UFC fighter compete. Dana and Ari ought to let that sink in. FWIW, I hope Arman ragdolls Poullos, am actually looking forward to that.

If he wants to "stay active" he should be taking fights. Fights like Arman vs BSD. Which is the biggest fight he can reasonably get without WAITING SOME MORE.
