What is your general opinion on Johnny Hendricks ?

Great fighter, in some exciting legendary fights but suffered with a low iq and made borderline retarded decisions. The IV ban destroyed his career.

Only discovered ten years ago that he’s part native Indian, very interesting character. Probably makes a good cop.

Took all the steroids he could and it was good enough to win 2 of the 5 rounds against the greatest of all time, GOAT St Pierre.

Steroids steroids steroids 1 big needle up Hendricks' bum. All the steroids, all the juice, all the PEDs, only to lose to Georges.

Gets off steroids and loses to a fucking can in Paula Cansta.

Dude even admitted he took steroids, on video then backtracked. Pig Rigg.

Like Weidman, a marked decline after USADA testing began. So despite some phenomenal showings, I think both are PED cheats. Johnny on the left was a wrecking machine - one of the best Welterweights ever. After USADA, on the right, Johnny was done.

I was really impressed by his performances against Fitch or Kampmann.
The moment he rejected to get testet before the GSP fight I felt that there is something fishy with him. And after USADA came in I knew why he was that monster who got a title fight. He wasn´t even disciplined to make weight after that. Not even at MW.

His run of kos was beautiful. Beat gsp imo and I'm a gsp fan. Fat outside of competition.

He didn't want to pay his team anymore, so he trained by himself.
But that doesn't work if you don't have the motivation. Even then it's difficult.
He had a wife, 4 children, multiple businesses. It was a stupid decision, couldn't make weight anymore. A steak house doesn't help there.

He had a good run. Great offensive grappling and could scramble with the best of them. He threw hammers. He was a poor sport in defeat and had questionable results after stricter regulations were implemented but that could have also been the result of 20 plus years of wear and tear and getting old.

His fight GSP is a coin flip. I've watched it 4 times over the years and change my mind every time.

Elite at his peak but didn’t have the discipline to stay there and fell off hard. USADA did him no favours either.

He was an animal once upon a time but went on to get beat up by a gay porn star. He had all the talent needed to be champion, blessed with god tier power but just didn’t have the attitude and drive. He could have been great.

Never liked or cared bout him too much but overall his career was great and the downfall sudden. Not among best ever or close to it but world class fighter and former champion.

Definitely started out as a great fighter who seemed pretty suspect after USADA came along and the more the cameras were on him the clearer it became he wasn't the smartest guy.
