Opinion What if a lot of what you've heard or read about Donald Trump was categorically false?

When you realize the guy you support has been a massive piece of shit since the late 1989’s, you will gladly believe anyone who says naw Trump is a good guy. People like me from the northeast have been making fun of Dementia Donny since the late 1980’s. We grew up with Middle class Americans Trump fucked over financially. He has stiffed over 3000 contractors. Sane people don’t worship people because they got rich through inheritance.

Never mind what liberals say. There are too many people from his previous administration that say he's too thin-skinned, temperamental and disinterested in being a serious leader. The presidency is just a big ego stroke for him.

My biggest issue with Trump is the way he created a cult around himself. He's taken over the Republican party and uses it entirely for his purposes. Even down to the smallest local elections you have guys running for office throwing themselves at him and saying that the main reason to vote for them is that they stand with Trump. It's gross. His voting base worships him in ways that aren't healthy. He demands absolute loyalty and validation even when he's being childish or nonsensical.

The Democrats have their own problems, I am not saying they are good. Whoever yout vote for, it's going to be down to picking the lesser of two evils. So much of the problems with the Republican party though can largely be traced down to one man.

The cult of neo-liberalism projecting yet again.

Paradoxically, without the negative media attention Trump wouldn't have gotten half as far as he has. A fundamental part of his appeal to his base is the whole 'unfairly prosecuted and a martyr' mentally. He positioned himself as an antagonist from the start and has been very open about how he views all publicity as good publicity. The worst thing that could happen to Trump is people not paying attention to him.

Of course he's backing Trump as he has less crypto and tech regulation than the Dems, as well as ties to Vance. Silicon Valley see Vance as one of their own and someone they would possibly have pull with through his connection to Peter Thiel. Thiel and the tech sector bank rolled him. Not really hard to connect the dots here. Again, just another example of Rogan's pod being worthless outside of MMA interviews.
Yup, the Tech Bro switch to Trump is all about believing Vance will be POTUS in 4 years or less, if Trump wins.

To a person they all expressed how much they despised Trump but as soon as they realized how easily he was bribed (suddenly now loves Crypto, and Tic Tok, etc) and that Vance will likely take over mid term from Trump, they were willing to switch and support him.

This whole “blame it on the media” tactic Trump cultists use is so lazy. Like the average person can’t see his behavior, hear his words, and view his bizarre appearance, and deduce there is something wrong with the man.

Even his followers know what a true pos the guy is. The guy tried to unlawfully subvert the election and his followers love him for it.

Watching him cater to the lowest common denominator and stoke dissent in the country for his own personal gain is what made me not like him. That was enough. All the other scandalous stuff he has done is just a curiosity to me. And I didn't need the media to shape my opinion of him, I can just watch what he does.

This is spot on. He represents the anti-hero going against the grain to save civilization that Republicans seem to think they are. Unfortunately the media took the bait hard on that one and went overboard to villainy him.

Ive long been fan of Chamath Palihapitiya and it started with equities. He was with Goldman Sachs at the time and has roots as a Bay Arean like myself. The guy then becomes a regular on CNBC and he has a huge following.

He has a podcast called the All In and its basically an intellectuals perspective of todays most pressing current events.

He was recently on Rogans podcast and it was a great episode mostly because Rogan for once sat back and mostly let Chamath do the talking.

Please go the end of the podcast at about 2:20 and just listen. Chamath was like a lot of us. He was a liberal distrustful of Trump who he perceived to be this monster that the media portrayed him to be. If you're Trump hater, like I was up until the end of last year, hopefully tidbits like this will let you know you've been misled about Trump. He isn't the racist dimwit cheater you've been led to believe.

He's been jobbed but the democratic party which is desperate to retain power.

Bro, come on!

Telling the leftist trash in these forums that Trump is anything other than a reincarnation of Hitler is like walking into a church in the deep south on Sunday morning and telling everybody that Jesus never really existed.

They're moronic imbeciles who cannot, and will not, ever, believe anything that suggestsTrump may not be satan himself.

This typifies what trash leftists have become. It's perfect!

If you dare question the leftist orthodoxy, they will come at you with the wrath of a thousand hurricanes. The real question is: how many idiots like this guy are out there? They're certainly the loudest, but will they show up to vote in big enough numbers to push Hairyass over the finish line?

We shall see.

Would you like some Hay seed for your next Strawman?

This is pretty rich considering this is what nearly every politician does. Including that ones that you're likely to vote for.

If you don't already know this, maybe the lowest common denominator label also applies to you?

yeah, i really can't stand anyone on his show that isn't a fighter. The comedians riding his strap are so cringey. Most of the guests are edge lord dorks. This guy smugly telling people lies about trump because it will help him personally/financially is just gross. As soon as read the synopsis i suspected he was a crypto dork. Oh and LOL he's buddy buddy with David Sacks lmaoooooooo

how did biden stoke dissent in the country for his own personal gain? How is Kamala stoking dissent in the country for her own personal gain?
