What effect will the Aspinall duck have on JBJ's legacy?

If he doesn't fight him it'll only continue until Aspinall loses, then fans will just point out how Jones would've murdered him ect.

jon doesn't have a legacy. as uncle peace sometimes calls them, "the little old lady in ohio' doesn't know who the fuck jon jones is and never will. His excuse to fight stipe's ghost cause he has a legacy is also cope. The little old lady in ohio sure as fuck doesn't know who stipe is and acting like 3 title defenses should even be a threshold at all for some kinda historic record is a joke. The little old lady in ohio at most knew who connor and ronda were back in 2015 but the new little old ladies in Ohio don't know who the fuck they are anymore and sure as fuck will never know who jon is. Only close following MMA fans (and its still a niche sport) know who jon is. The pregnant lady probably doesn't remember who crashed into her.

The legacy shtick is just bullshit and cope excuses to justify his undeserved easier opponents. He wants easier fights against grandpas that never exceed 245lbs is the sole reason

Why should he care ? He's rich. The LHW goat.

He is clearly clearly ducking Tom. Being a paper HW champ.

But he did not duck Francis. He was a LHW with no HW fights or title. No obligation to fight any HW.

He has a hell of a Mt Duckmore

Rumble
Reyes rematch
Francis
Aspinall

Also pretended he wanted anything with prime Cain LMAO

It's Jones's "No mas" moment akin to Roberto Duran quitting in the second fight against Sugar Ray Robinson. Only hardcore boxing fans remember how great Duran was, but the vast majority and casuals remember Duran for his shameful quitting in the middle of a fight. In other words, compeltely tarnished legacy.

What does this even mean?

He's a prize-fighter, he fights for money. The reward is money.

He is the "champion" so every fight he would be risking the title against a contender. Of course there is risk.

What is a reasonable risk for the guy who calls himself the greatest of all time, in your opinion? A champion v champion against Belal, maybe?
My whole point is that he is asking for a massive amount of money to accept the fight with Tom because it's a high risk of him losing. If he loses, at least he walks away with an obscene amount of money.

It is going to get brought up whenever his career is discussed outside of official controlled channels. It doesnt mean he cant still be in GOAT contention, but no way will people forget his joke HW run where he waited for Ngannou to leave and then refused to unify the belt against the clear no2 challenger for years.

Conversely, at this point, if he actually takes the fight and wins? it would solidify him as the GOAT, imo.
