For the fans of BB, what is your favourite boss? Your favourite area?

I honestly dont have a favourite boss, but my favourite bosses were the hunter kinds, like Gehrman and Maria. Love the Ludwig fight because of the OST and the the second stage cutscene with the 'my guiding moonlight', shit is so fucking hype.

Bloodborne maybe has te best atmosphere of any game ever, I love Cainhurst, just the architecture and the snow setting, and the mystery of the whole area is jawdropping. I love the Old Hunters DLC areas aswell, it feels so otherworldly and bleak. The HP Lovecraft shines in these areas.

To me BB was a 10 that solidified its greatness with what is probably one of the best DLCs made this gen. I wouldnt be shocked if people loved the DLC more than the base game.

Favourite boss is probably Gerhman. Favourite area is honestly probably Old Yarnham. This room in particular is creepy af

Finished The Messenger on Xbox, great little indie platormer/metroidvania

Started The Fractured But Whole loving it, its hilarious, the revamped combat system is really good too.

Currently doing my first run on Streets of Rage 4. I'm liking it thus far. Kind of hard to screw up that formula.

So much to say and yet no need to. Uncharted 4. Funny, touching, well-told, action-packed, beautiful. In a word, remarkable.

Reckon right now it makes my personal 3 for greatest games of all-time. Final Fantasy 6. Bloodborne. Uncharted 4. The moment I touched down in Madagascar, I had a feeling this was going to be a hell of a journey. And it was. F, it was. The end hit me in the feelz to make for a great sendoff.

As for quick ramble, I loved Nadine's (antag) fighting style; felt authentic to how a paramilitary security contractor would be trained + accompanying aesthetic. I was disappointed they did away with weapon-specific trophies as I just loved those in parts 1-3 and thought they added to combat in what you could loot and put together. Loved the post-SP god menus; ended up replaying quite a bit while modding for Xenon audio (my favourite) and various fun filters.

The second-to-last big shootout (at the ship graveyard) was frienzied -- almost too much, I think. I died so many times and had heavy-gunners, snipers, mercs, demolitions nutter all crawling up my ass. I dipped into MP after campaign but, yeah, I missed the party there and thought it middling; dug the charged grappling hook mechanic though, which was pretty cool, and swinging about never gets old. Everyone playing was super nice, which is not normal, lol. Great community for UC and that's not a surprise in the least with quality begetting quality.

To Nate and Elena, Sully, and everyone else:

Desperados 3 (Amazing)
Super Mega Baseball 3 (Also Amazing)
Langrisser 1 & 2 (still dipping my toes in)

Not even shocked to hear this, what UC4 felt for you is ow UC2 felt for me. Its an amazing franchise, and the quality of those 5 main games are insane for their time.

Glad you enjoyed it that much, Lost Legacy should be your next, if you loved UC4, you'll defo like that one. I also really enjoy Nadine and Chloe's dynamic.

Id say play it after another game since the gameplay isnt too different from UC4.

Lol it sounds a little silly, but I've been suuuuuper into Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR on my Oculus

Lol super relaxing, the rod action (lol) feels responsive and legit with the force feedback vibration whatever. Tons of equipment and different places to fish. It's just a lot of fun

I was a few hours into Fallout 76, which I actually found to be enjoyable.

Until I spent two days away from the Xbox, booted it up and now cannot get past the signing in part without (STATICCCC) followed by a black screen and return to main menu.

Luckily it was on Game Pass, so I just uninstalled.

I played No Man's Sky on Game Pass earlier on, another game that I was really looking forward to, and it stunk.

Battlefield 5(not sure why I waited. Loving it)

Jedi Fallen Order still. Just runs bad on the XBONE, so it get frustrated, and stop frequently.

Dark Souls Remastered. Starting on 3 made going back to this one a bit hard. Much more of a clunky feeling. Still a badass game.

DS3 followed BB, they took some of the speed with it over to DS, but DS is usually more clunky.

DS has the best overall world design out of the lot of them. It honestly is amazing in that aspect.

yeah I just have to complete Dark souls, and demon souls to complete the souls-borne series.

Played 3, then BB, then Scholar, and now this. Kind of backwards lol. That’s why I’m enjoying dark souls and scholar the least. Though they were/are awesome in their own right.

If you're interested in campaign, I strongly recommend the chapter for Tirailleur if nothing else. Tense standoffs and a touching retelling.

The atmosphere, or magic if you will, of Souls I is unmatched, truly. Discovering Darkroot Garden for the first time and being dry of Estus is unforgettable. Embrace the gooseflesh, brother.

My biggest moment of awe in the original Dark Souls was making it to the Ash Lake at the bottom of the Great Hollow

Decided to go back, and give Prison Architect another go. This game is fun at first, but man it gets tedious once it starts getting big. Plus random events like riots can ruin it since recovering takes forever.

About to finish Syndicate. My 6th Assassins Creed game in a row. Looking at either Sekiro or GOT next. How tough is Sekiro? Is it as difficult as DS3/Bloodborne? I keep hearing GOT is a lot like Assassins Creed which isn't exactly appealing right now haha.

Ive been playing a lot of pc lately. Mostly valorant, dabbling in mount and blade bannerlord ( when it doesn’t randomly crash ) and Mordhau again which is fun af but I’ve been getting curb stomped lol

I want to go back and finish outer worlds and Jedi fallen order on my xbox but besides sport games I have a hard time playing console these days idk why

Sekiro is a lot tougher the DS for me. It's very twitchy, and you have to have some pretty crazy coordination and reflexes to tackle it's enemies once you get a fair bit into it. It starts out reasonable enough, but then you're facing enemies where you have to not only memorize their patterns, but also have to be able to react accordingly, with all of the varied defensive maneuvers you have, with different inputs. Oh', and there are no real ways to game the system either, like grinding or calling in a friend to help you out, like you can do in Dark Souls. It's all on you and your reflexes. It's a tough motherfucker.
