Was anyone in UFC history statistically as dominant as Khabib?

GSP during his second run. He went something like 45 rounds without losing. Nobody could do anything to him for like 4 years.

Dude... no... Khamzat took more damage against a former LW Burns than Khabib took in his entire career and he only has 9 UFC wins,

worse stats

worse fighter
I have Khabib as #3.

Khamzat would destroy Khabib. Too big.

Khabib cut so much weight to stay at LW he went to Germany to surgically repair his organs.

False. He lost several rounds, got battered by Hendricks, dropped by Conduit lost round, lost another round to Shields

Khamzat might have a good chance against 200 lbs Khabib but Khabib is the p4p better and more dominant fighter statistically and actually.

He didn't lose a round from the Kos rematch until the last round of the Shields fight. You do the math.

Then he slowed down, lost one round to Condit, arguably the third against Diaz, and got gifted against Hendricks.

That's only an 8 fight streak until Shields took a round, then got dropped by Condit in the 9th

You realize competition matters with that statistic... correct?
Prime RDA, Edson, Conor, Poirier, and Gaethje were murders row, some of them so good they're still relevant

Khabib rolled over them like tomato cans.

Khabib having on of the longest ufc winstreaks ever is irrelevant?

1Anderson Silva16Middleweight
2Islam Makhachev15Lightweight
2Kamaru Usman15Welterweight
4Merab Dvalishvili14Bantamweight
5Khabib Nurmagomedov13Lightweight
5Georges St-Pierre13Welterweigt
5Demetrious Johnson13Flyweight
5Max Holloway13Featherweight
5Jon Jones13Light Heavyweight/Heavyweight
All of those people faced significantly harder competition than Khabib.

That’s why their streaks are better.

Terrible excuses, and they all got beat, bloodied, dropped or lost official rounds to gatekeepers, other than Khabib.

Were these gatekeepers significantly harder competition?

Better question, does any fanbase deepthroat their fighter more than Khabib's? This guys top 5 list of wins are also like all of his top 5 wins. I'm tired of hearing about how he's the best ever or most dominant ever. He won the title over a real estate agent not a world champ. Half his wins are cab drivers with no wiki page.

You guys need to calm the fuck down a little bit.

and yet the real ones know true greatness when they see it

I'm not interested in your logical fallacies such as appealing to others to back your opinion. And a fighters opinion on the matter is just that. An opinion. Guess what Fedor said BJ penn is the goat one time and nobody thinks that's the case yet many people still respect Fedor.

It's great you guys have your opinions, but thankfully we have actual stats that show Khabib was statistically, factually the most dominant round per round fighter in UFC history.

All I’ll say is that nobody has done to his opponents what Khabib did to them. There’s no reason to believe he couldn’t do it to any 155er to ever fight either.

Dude gave guys PTSD in there. Jones probably has too.

Huh???? TONS of guys dominated their divisions like Khabib did. They then lost at some point, while continually fighting top competition. Khabib on the other hand has like 5 good wins his entire career. The sport is littered with guys that have three title defenses and a handful of top 5 wins.

Jones, not close.

Probably not. His sample size was not that large, he retired very young.

If we made splits though, like 3-4 year splits of GOATs and the second tier GOATs then their stats are probably comparable to Khabib's, who basically had 3 years of elite competition (probably closer to 2 tbh).

Indeed, but most other GOATs fought guys better just as good with a couple fighters better.

I wouldnt say he ran over them like cans other than Edson. He beat them soundly, but the idea that he could destroy anyone at any second was always a meme. It took him a while to dispatch of all those guys.

RDA is probably the best fighter he ever beat, and the 5th best was Edson Barboza which is a gigantic difference in quality - the 6th best is another huge drop off after Edson. So yeah, most other all time greats have had twice as many in terms of quantity, with 2 or 3 guys that dwarf guys like McGregor at 155 in qualtiy.
