I found the whole scene reprehensible. Now that they have to rely on their own writing without use of the books they have resorted to doing cookie cutter narratives that are too predictable and insulting to our intelligence.

I actually liked last night's episode. There were still flaws with it (does seriously no one use scouts any more? How the hell does an entire navy sneak up to a few hundred yards on you???) but I think it was the best episode of this season and possibly last as well.

It shifted quick from fighting the NK, but being back to fighting over the throne with political drama of who to support felt refreshing. Varys is so damn quick to change about who he supports lol. Dany was sooooooo close to being self aware when she was talking about how the people here love Jon Snow like the people in Essos' used to love her before she came to westeros, where nobody loves her. Yeah, it's because you haven't directly done anything for the people except demand the iron throne by birthright! Annnnd then she missed it all because she's wrapped up in wanting the throne like a toddler wants a lollipop.

Honestly, Dany should just say fuck it and torch king's landing and invade it with what she has left of a military. She keeps listening to Tyrion and Varys and slow playing it, and keeps taking heavy, heavy losses in the process. Those two may be good political advisors, but they're shit at anything resembling a battle whether it's troop allocation or simply which long term goals to pursue in the war.

I'll give that video a listen on my commute into work today.

Jon is also a cunt for not even petting ghost goodbye.

I watched the video you shared. From film standpoint, he's definitely right on using the deaths to create higher tensions. Not letting them have plot armor until its convenient to no longer have it

Seems to revolve around the Bran Night King fan theory which has been a pretty big one, because it's actually a bit believable and possible, since season 6 I believe

Arya using a wight to get close to NK would have made perfect sense, and used her actual faceless man skills not just generic ninja fighter. Having it be Berics would align with why lord of light kept bringing him back

My one thing with his vid is that the brown eyes of melisamdes foreshadowing I believe refered to her killing of the Freys.
 
Ginger is awesome, but it helps if you are a good cook or married one.

Well, that's not true, but to answer the question, it's another example of the degeneration of the group (and of the issue I mentioned before about the differing goals of liberals and the batshit right--the WR right simply doesn't care about being right in an objective sense).
