I can't imagine there's anything un-Christian about being sexually aroused by Jesus. God probably made one sexy Halfrican motherfucker. I'm okay with that.
We know his followers were a bunch of dudes and a prostitute so I’m guessing he had a pretty impressive penor.

The kind that commands respect, y’know?

According to our bud rip, because I "do not think it worthwhile to retain knowledge of god," god is making me think about his son's penis. That seems a little sick.

What is this place?

To be fair, neither do you.

Do you know how many cells they have? Space in the cells? Court cases going on already? When he’ll be able to go before a judge?

If they pick up one guy for terroristic threatening (the crime you described) can they house him for at least year if he wants to go to trial? Will they even win the trial? That surely depends on if you’re willing to go and testify to what you’ve seen. Are you? Did you call the cops?

There’s really a lot more information needed than what you’ve given us to determine how bad they’re doing. Seeing as it’s New Orleans I’m betting they don’t even have the money, manpower, or cell space to deal with the murders, assaults and robberies let alone the disturbed homeless guy who threw a beer bottle.

Um. Pretty sure I know a fuck load more than he does besides his borderline racist ass comment. NOLA has jailspace (huge prison pop here) and I've mentioned the fact they are understaffed constantly and underpaid.

The court case issue has a lot to do with understaffed attorneys as well. We don't have enough public defenders and they're overworked as fuck. Hell NOLA just lets murderers straight walk constantly.

The issue with laziness and cowardly cops has a lot to do with how little they're paid. There's no way in hell a good LEO is coming to the city there, there are great cops here and the mounted police are amazing. Two cops were getting their asses beat on Bourbon a few weeks ago and the Mounted police swept in like superheros.

As to terrorist threats, yeah he should be taken off the street. There are two people legit terrorizing people daily here screaming in their faces and threatening to kill them.

When I had to protect my coworkers from that crackhead I spoke to the police, called the rangers and legit watched dude hiding lol.

This block is the biggest problem block in the French Quarter, we don't even get a patrol and if we do it's this fat cop who sits in my shop for five minutes and talks about wanting to kill the homeless.

Look at it from this perspective, how many tourists were scared today and won't come back? It's costing the city more in the long run.

I agree crime is complex here, but his stupid ass "hurr durr people will riot" is retarded.

Of course his comment was idiotic. I’m responding to you and not him since you have the capacity for thought.

You said you have a huge prison population which proves part of my point. Also, jail is for presentence and prison is post sentencing, so the populations are separate unless things are really dire. Which they are even where I’m at in fucking Maui. So I know NOLA is jammed.

Of course I agree he should be taken off the streets but that doesn’t mean that there are the resources to do so.

As far as the rest of what you say I’m sure it’s true. I know I wouldn’t take a pay cut to work there. When I was still Federal I was stationed in both Baton Rouge and Shreveport at times I know some of the issues there, and eventually I did take a pay cut to work for the local government out here in Hawaii. Now you couldn’t pay me enough to be law enforcement on the mainland. Fuck that, you’re all insane over there. But we deal with a huge homelessness problem here as well.

Anyway, my general point is it isn’t as simple as just “lock him up” and the issues behind that go way deeper than the police department has control over. You yourself are now admitting they need to release murderers, that shows you there isn’t room for this guy. The best solution would probably be some psychiatric hold for the guy, but again, there probably isn’t funding for that either.

Anybody else here ever fix a car dent with the sun? Was told it was possible so I re-positioned how the car was parked. A few weeks later it went from softball-size in the rear corner to...

I apologize for my tone then. Ripskaters pathetic point of view annoyed me.

I absolutely agree we need reform, alot of criminals here started young and you almost can't blame them. The kids suffer from here is pretty insane. Plus the emotional trauma from Katrina lingers on.

It is a mental health issue, as addiction truly is, but lingering effects from Reagan have had a horrible impact. This isnt even so much as him getting arrested. Its how NOPD knows this is a problem area and at the very least we need a patrol.

Even overlooking the lack of police in the rest of the city due to the necessity of protecting the FQ you're telling me they can't spare one cop to patrol a two block radius? Dude said he was going to start shooting and I ran my ass inside.

I realize this is one of the hardest cities in the country to police but something has to be done. Both to stop crime and to gain back the publics trust.

That being said im in a hella good mood, made 408 in eight hours and I'm on Bourbon with a bottle of vodka and the night off. Despire the faults this is still the greatest city in the country in my opinion.

The girls out and about tonight for Decadence are stunning.

that one dude is tactical as hell

Also, they kind of look like when kids used to go around being ghost busters

Lol the Christian protesters should learn from these cats. I actually promised to go to a sermon if those retards who protest on Bourbon would walk around cleaning the street and deliver food and water to the homeless.

The gay bashing Christians were out in force protesting since its Decadence and a gay dude just bump and grinded on their sign for a while and I almost died laughing.

If a person holds onto his sin long enough, God gives you over to a depraved mind. He can do what he wants to do, say what he wants to say, but this is what eventually happens if continued it's course.

Romans 1
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.

Interesting. I think @Fawlty may be right though. If we are all in gods design that also includes the penis etc. I understand from your view it's seen as depraved to talk about but wouldn't he technically be right?

Christian Southerners should be no strangers to the 2nd Amendment. They'd need to strap up I think. :D

This is a city you have to be. This is why I think felons should be able to apply to be able to own firearms. A lot of time felons can't find housing in a good neighborbood and live in crime ridden areas and I'll be straight up they need it more than I do.

No lie. It does feel good the "got dem shoes" boys know I'm a local.

Yes . I am getting myself out there and making some changes. I am tired of being a little bitch boy. I have to grow up and be a man. These days I am so focused:

You better at least do the dishes and cook dinner boy!

I'd like to claim it's an incremental step in my master plan to eliminate facebook style shitposting in the War Room
but actually it was done way before my time and I can't find any record of the reasoning.

The meme thread helped a lot. I was originally against that but in retrospect, it was a great idea.
