Imo he's gonna try to pull some sort of reveal one of these days and claim to really be in the middle, he loves the intellectual challeng of debate, Trump haters were such easy marks, etc. He'll even throw in a "I was a staunch Trump critic" line. Then everyone will go after him for being such a maggot, and the next cycle will be established.
