Opinion War Room Government Shutdown over/under predictions

I know it's not his fault, but PA just announced SNAP benefits will not be issued in Nov due to the Democrat shutdown. It doesn't affect me because i am above those guidelines, albeit not much above, but it is going to hurt a lot of my wifes co workers. I am just glad they see through the bullshit and blame the Democrats. A lot of them are glad Trump allocated funds for WIC.
If only you weren't so braindead as to realize Trump and the GOP cut access to WIC this year, while you try and pretend Trump is saving the program.

MSDNC is not the greatest source of information.

Damn, I didn't know you were so bad at spelling. It's spelled CBO.

You truly are the embodiment of lower income Americans who vote against the economics interests of lower income Americans because of cultural perceptions.
So now we are resorting to personal attacks? As i have said many times, I might be on a fixed income, but at least i own my own house. I learned long ago material things that lose value are not whats important.

I'll take, how do margins of error work for 500, Alex.

Americans really need to make stats more common in school.

What personal attack did I make? There's nothing wrong with being lower income, you literally described yourself as that.

I do find it very questionable that you plainly vote against the economic interests of people in your income range, but that's not unusual in America sadly.

Like I said, you're cheering for Trump scrambling to fund WIC while unable to comprehend that his budget eliminated eligibility for a couple million Americans.

Explain what you meant by "the embodiment of lower class" Sounds like you are trying to back track on an insult. But that is not surprising.

I didn't say you were the embodiment of lower class.

What strain you smoking tonight and where do I get this mind eraser?

Its a combination of Two 19oz cans of Blue Moon Extra ( 8% ) and i lost count of the amount of 12oz cans of Miller lite i drank tonight, but it was a 15 pack and the night is still young. I don't smoke the devils lettuce, that is a Liberal drug.

Huh, could have sworn you've mentioned the devil's lettuce before.

Will be interesting to see what democrats do because not only was no kings a flop, but as quoted below, Trump is at peak approval for him. He also seems to not even care about congress, which is actually kind of ironic as the left will cry that means he is an authoritarian dictator, but they are the ones that shutdown the government, thus giving Trump more leverage to rely on the power of the executive branch.

Meanwhile judges that try to block him are now routinely getting overturned… the left is in complete free fall.
The Senate vote failed again and 7 Senators decided to not vote. WTF?

Lmao we are in the full retard timeline. If the Republicans have their way, things like snap and WIC are going to disappear for a lot of people for good. The democrats shut the government down trying to secure funding for social programs that those same people probably need. It’s a wild spin to be acting like Trump is going to ride to the poor man’s rescue.

Yea what are the dems at like 18% polling right now? You see some of that retardation in this thread from no kings posters.

Well -- certain states (MN being one of them) just hit the official email/text alert button -- I'm not going to Nostradamus anything, but this is going to speed shit up.... I would think Friday/Monday you're going to see a resolution. This is why the programs (local level, food shelter, donations etc) are extremely important (not wasting time at some fucking about "protest") -- This is what HURTS people -- fuck left, fuck right -- MN has a 'worse' than normal winter on the doorstep.

The food shelter / intake also got this to it's community email

Due to a lack of funding caused by the federal government shutdown, the following program benefits will not be issued for November until the shutdown ends or the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) receives further guidance from the federal government:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) food benefits

The MFIP cash portion will continue to go out in November. If you have been receiving SNAP or MFIP benefits in October or prior months, continue to use them as usual.

The department continues to explore solutions that will give Minnesotans access to benefits should the shutdown continue. Visit dcyf.mn.gov/federal-shutdown for food support resources and updates on the latest federal government shutdown impact to DCYF programs.

You are now pissing in the cheerios of WAY too many people to ignore. Young, old. left. right.... what the fuck ever label -- this is your aunt, your cousin, your neighbor that was already struggling facing the REALITY that regardless of what fucking party they may blindly follow -- the RIGHT thing to do "for the people" is to get this fuckin' deal worked out, and for both parties to stop waving their (already tiny) pricks around accepting only their party as a fucking stubborn 'solution'.

You are now fucking with people you really don't want to piss off -- some of which want NOTHING to do with yer shit politics. Be interesting when I volunteer on friday to see what the feeling is at the food shelter level, where real people don't have some redwhite and blue cock jammed in their ass by one party or the other, and just want to feed their loved ones.

Trump approval going up

Dems love picking the losing side of things.

The "protest" the week before you're telling many of your constituents they won't be getting their SNAP/FOOD benefits because they would rather tell their followers to get mad and LARP and accomplish NOTHING makes the optics tell you all you need to know about the democrats.

Trump and CO have the leverage here -- but many (on both sides) will be showing the ACTUAL outrage at BOTH parties, and their inability to work together. When you make the scenario "look, neither side has been adults about this" -- it's not hard to explain to everyday people how both sides are like divorced parents and the actual "we the people" is the fuckin' step-kid getting tossed back and traded off as a bargaining tool somewhere in the middle of it all ;)
