Put me in charge for one day.

My Immigration policy would strengthen the economy and the cost to the government would go down. We would no longer need to remove all of the 10-20 million who entered the country illegally. Keep the productive ones and properly deal with the ones who have committed additional crimes.

My policy for health insurance would result in a 50% drop in premiums with zero cost to the government.

The only people that really care are people who work for the federal government or their contractors, most of who are in the MD/VA/DC area and a few other hubs… those people are mostly democrats and live in a bubble.

Yea I remember the last shutdowns it was all anyone was talking about and all over the news. Now I barely see it get mentioned.

Two weeks. As 80% of people are likely living paycheck to paycheck, you should start to see some big noise and anxiety when that first one doesn't come in.
