I think it is BS to ever ban somebody for life... unless they do something really crazy like punch out a referee. IMHO, the penalty for skipping a drug test should be the same as the penalty for testing positive... nothing more... nothing less.

The penalty for running from or refusing to be tested should be more severe. Otherwise there is no reason a fighter should not run if they know they are goin to get caught, but they can still claim they did not cheat.

quit the opposite:
running from a test is actually a pretty dumb thing to do when a refused test carries the same penalty as a positive one.
when you run you can't claim anything and get an auto-suspension.
on the other hand there are countless examples of people who got their penalty reduced/avoided penalties completely because of spiked supplements, sample handling, etc.
